I was playing a bit of BG2 last night and quicksaved my game before shutting my computer off and going to bed. I'd moved around the city a bit so I'd also accumulated a few overwrites to the autosaves as well.
When I started up BG2 again in the morning, the quicksave and autosave weren't there. The game didn't see them. So I went to the save folder to see what was up. The folders were there but on closer inspection they were empty.
What gives?
I assume that its impossible to recover the files, so perhaps I could at least find out how this happened so I can avoid it in the future?
