I'm not sure at what stage I was in my feelings of DA2 at the time, but right now I'm glad I hedged my bets as it came in before the price jump.



That was the real benefit to pre-ordering, not the Signature Edition bonuses, IMO.

Well considering I just found an old Amazon gift card and received a couple more today, I very well might preorder, seeing as it won't really cost me anything. But I'll still hold out until January 10th before doing so, as I sort of want to know if the bonus character is going to just come with new versions anyway like Shale or Zaeed, since the character is really the only reason I'd preorder.

The problem with that plan is that ME2 is one of the most highly rated games on the PC or 360.  Its almost certain to get loads of game-of-the-year awards.  

I think i'll order it on the PS3 and then buy it for cheap on the PC later when its on a steam sale.  

Edit:  I've just checked according to metacritic ME2 was the 8th highest rated PC of all time, two behind BG2.

it (like more combats, too short etc).

But Yes, I would have bought it anyway... Luckily now I know the things that
made me dislike ME2 so if I find the same stuff in ME3, I'm going to either,
not buy it at all, or later when the price goes down.
