Jesse Houston, How are you my friend? :P

EA Announces.. These words came from an EA spokesmen. From his mouth. With respect. HONOR WHAT YOU SAY.....

"All our games will be 3D ready"

Article: 3dradar.techradar.com/3d-tech/ea-all-our-games-are-3d-ready-03-11-2010

CRYTEK A DIVISION OF EA, has already announced that CRYSIS 2 WILL BE IN FULL STEREOSCOPIC 3D, honring EA's announcment.

Bioware I"m sure will follow suit, their honor is on the line... What will EA investors think if Bioware refuses to honor EA's announcement?

Imagine being fully immersed into the world of Mass Effect 3.  NVIDIA 3D Vision technology has come a long way since 9 months ago.  With optimal convergence & depth settings you can avoid any type of eye strain.   Once you get used to 3D there is no going back.  I can't imagine playing any adventure games without 3D ever again.

VX2268WM - 3D ready monitor 22 Inch - $269.99

NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit - $174.99

I am a very difficult person to please and I know a gimmick when I see one.  NVIDIA 3D Vision originally appeared to be very gimmicky but they've fixed all the major problems.  I strongly recommend 3D gaming.   If you've been on the sidelines then hopefully this post will push you to take that step.

I've played the following two bioware games with NVIDIA 3D Vision and they work very well with the lowest depth settings and the highest convergence.

* Dragon Age
* Mass Effect 1

If Bioware would fix the cursor in Dragon Age it would be perfect and if Bioware allowed us to disable the crosshair in Mass Effect it would also be perfect.

If you guys have any honest questions about NVIDIA 3D Vision I can answer them.  It's NOT a gimmick.  I believe that 3D TV's are still very gimmicky and the 3D DLP technology is also gimmicky due to numerous overscan problems.  However I assure you NVIDIA 3D Vision is pretty damn flawless especially with new convergence settings.

And since EA annoucned all their games will be 3D ready I strongly recommend you immerse yourself further into Bioware games by treating yourself to 3D.  It's a magnificent experience.

Contact EA Investor Relations and tell them what you think. Should EA honor what they told their investors?

The original post made by Mr. Dynasty was deleted. Very shocking.  In that post was a response by Jesse Houston himself producer of Mass Effect 2.

Remember in Mass Effect 1 when you were interviewed by a news reporter? It feels like that doesn't Mr. Houston? My advice to you is to man up and just be strong. Just tell people you don't give a **** about 3D..  Man uP :)

Tell EA's investors that bioware a division of EA doesn't give two ****s about EA's titles being 3D ready even though EA announced that they would be...

Gaxe I think you'll find in that article that they neither confirm nor deny that mass effect 3 is 3d enabled. It simply says that it's 3d ready, because the models are already in 3d..

Its quite similar to the days of people being bamboozled by "FullHD" and "HDReady" labels, where HDReady tvs would downconvert HD-content to sub-hd resolutions. So what I would assume they are alluding to is that the 3d character models, weapons, vehicles, and environments can be viewed in stereoscopic 3d like all other DX9 games. Where the caveat would lie is in elements such as lens-flare, HUD, crosshairs and shadows which in ME1 & 2 did not translate well into stereoscopic 3d, with users having to disable virtually all HUD elements to make the game tolerable.

I would hope that some effort is made to allow such items to render correctly in s3d, or at the very least include more settings options for PC users so that we can disable specific elements. One of the main problems with ME2, for example, was if lens-flare was disabled then we lost the ability to interact with objects.

The old "Neither confirm or deny" gimmick. I'm sure EA investors would LOVE to see this post.  I'm trying to find a way to contact EA investors to let them know of Biowares anti 3D stance even though EA said all its titles would be 3D ready.

The last paragraph you wrote is untolerable. We dealt with that bull **** in ME1 & ME2.  They need to make ME3 3D ready like EA said they would.

If ME3 isn't 3D ready like EA said it would be , I will make it my last dying wish to notify every EA investor that EA went back on their word when Bioware a DIVISION OF EA didn't honor their agreement.

I'll start 348893 blogs with Search Engine Optimization so if any EA investors googles "Ea" investment, my topics will come up.

Old Jesse Houston deleted the post that other guy made, you know how cowardice that is?  A man fesses up to his mistakes and takes consequence like a man.. World full of cowards if you ask me.

Sorry, Gaxe, but your link provides no dates or attributions or even any detail, so I cannot accept it as the basis for your rant. And really, it's probably best to leave EA investor business to EA and its investors. If you wish to provide a better link for your discussion of how or if the Mass Effect will use 3D technologies, then you can restart this, but since this thread is apparently missing some crucial information, I'm shutting it down. Thank you.

End of line.
