-is totally not overreacting, nope, not at all-

And now, because I'm just a really, really, really nice person, I made a dialogue in which Valen reads you...THE POEM! (only works if you have Deekin in your party, though. Dx)


[Deekin] - "Goatman? Yous still got Deekin's other quill?"
[Valen] - "Huh?" Valen jumps, startled. He turns towards Deekin with a slightly raised eyebrow. "What happened to yours?"
[Deekin] - He holds up a frozen feather, snapped neatly in half and unusable. "You gots other quill?"
[Valen] - The tiefling, noticing your stare, blushes faintly. "Er, yes."
[Deekin] - "Can you gives it to Deekin please?"
[Valen] - "Hasn't your ink frozen solid yet?" Valen snaps irritiably.
[Deekin] - "Deekin's ink be enchanted! It never freeze!"
[Valen] - Muttering to himself, the tiefling fishes in his pack for a moment before returning the (albiet slightly bent) quill.
[PC] - "Why did you need to borrow Deekin's quill?" 1.1
[PC] - Say nothing [END DIALOGUE]
1.1 [Valen] - He jumps again, blushing returning, before looking at you for a moment, obviously uncomfortable.
[Valen] - "I...uh...w-wrote a poem...for you." he stammers nervously, his eyes now watching the snowy ground.
[PC] - Will you read it to me?
[Valen] - "My lady..."
[PC] - Please? [make puppy eyes] 1.2
[PC] - Ah, spoilsport. [END DIALOGUE]
1.2 [Valen] - Unable to resist, the tiefling sighs and agrees.
[Valen] - He pulls a small piece of parchment out of his pack, and clears his throat, before beginning to recite uncertaintly.
[Valen] - "Through Abyssal Pits, and Hells of cold; Across Celestial Heights, and Seas of Gold; I cannot be kept from you. From the Astral Depths and Wastes of Grey; By the gates of Sigil with beasts at play; I will always wait for you."
[Valen] - "Neither death nor fear nor power scorn'd, Shall make my vow of love forsworn'd. My soul, my flesh, my heart is true; these with Eternity, my gift to you."
[Valen] - His blue eyes burn into your own with sudden earnest. "It's a bit silly, isn't it?" he laughs nervously.
[PC] - [Tear up] 2.1
[PC] - It's not silly, not at all. 2.2
[PC] - [Kiss him] 2.3
[PC] - Actually, yeah, it is. 2.4
[PC] - You can be such a sap sometimes. [snicker] 2.4

2.1 [Valen] - He looks at you with concern as tears begin to fill your eyes, then realizes why you are tearing up. With a small smile, he places a small kiss on your forehead. "Let's continue, shall we, my love?" [END DIALOGUE]
2.2 [Valen] - He smiles briefly. "I'm glad you like it, my love." He steps forward and places a small kiss on your forehead. "Let's continue, however." [END DIALOGUE]
2.3 [Valen] - He blinks with surprise as your lips press against his own. For a moment he stands still with shock, then he gives in and begins to return your kiss gently. His fingers tangle in your hair, and his tail wraps around your waist possessively. With his free hand his cups your chin and tilts your head back deepening the kiss. Then, he remembers himself, and pulls back reluctantly. "We should...continue onwards." he manages, voice husky. Without another word, he releases you, and only casts a longing look in your direction as your party returns to the task at hand. [END DIALOGUE]
2.4 [Valen] - His face falls; obviously, your answer was not expected. "I...I thought you might say that." he mutters. "Let's just continue." [END DIALOGUE]

It's so hard to be mean to Valen; it's like throwing kittens into trees, setting said trees on fire, then using puppies to make field-goals.

Tell me if you think anyone's OOC. I'm not good at writing Deekin. Once I figure out how to script this *only* to appear after the Confession, I'll put up the file somewhere.

Note; this is all written before I've had any coffee. I apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors.

I have a really hard time being mean to companions in general but Valen.. I almost had a hard time just reading the mean dialogue-options, because "who would dare say such hurting/heartbreaking things to him".


I don't think the characters are OOC, I especially like how you capture Valens insecurity (at least regarding his heart) and how romantic he really is pretty well (Do want dialogue option 2.3 )
...and of course is Deekins ink enchanted (nice detail there ^^)

I feel bad kicking Deekin out of the party when I'm testing my henchman. I want him in fweva 'n eva! 
You think you have a hard time reading them, try writing them.  It breaks my poor fan-girl heart.

And I'm glad they aren't chopped up to hells. xD That would be...bad. On a whole new level.
2.3 is simply the beginning of a fan-girl's naughtiest dreams. *swoon* Minus the whole pulling away part. But even I know you can't get down and dirty in the middle of Cania while there is a kobold naught but three feet away who has enchanted ink...and writes down EVERYTHING! <_<

Which reminds me...I need to write a consummation dialogue. So we can really get down and dirty in the middle of Cania.

BLEGH. My toolset started frickin up and became unusable, but the only way to reinstall my toolset is to reinstall my game, so I went backed-up my save games, modules and stuff and uninstalled it, then went back to the installation program and APPARENTLY it's CORRUPTED. Alright you drooling lechers, here it is, as promised (sorta); the sex 'consummation' scene:

You and your companions are taking a well-needed rest. The endless, white landscape has darkened into what you assume is night. Despite this, the cold nips at you mercilessly, making sleep nigh impossible.

You sit up under your blanket, and your gaze turns to Valen, who is on watch.
-Attempt a conversation 1.1
-Watch him 2.1

1.1; At the sound of your voice calling his name, the tiefling turns.
"Something wrong, my love?" he murmurs softly.

-I...I can't sleep. It's too cold.
-Nothing's wrong, I just...

"I see." His gaze searches your face with worry. "You look like your freezing; hold on." He unwraps his own blanket from his body, and covers you with it gently. "There." He smiles at you, then turns to go back to his station.

-[Grab his hand] Wait... 1.2
-Thank you. [END DIALOGUE] -rest

2.1; Your eyes take in his strong, tall, muscular frame, his crimson locks undone from their usual ponytail and casually cascading down his shoulders. In spite of any attempts to be discreet, he can sense your gaze wandering up and down his body.
Something wrong, my love?" he murmurs softly.

-I...I can't sleep. It's too cold.
-Nothing's wrong, I just...

"I see." His gaze searches your face with worry. "You look like your freezing; hold on." He unwraps his own blanket from his body, and covers you with it gently. "There." He smiles at you, then turns to go back to his station.

-Well...thank you. [END DIALOGUE] -rest

1.4; He raises a crimson eyebrow a few shades. "You need your rest, <FirstName>."

-I...suppose you're right. [END DIALOGUE] -rest
-I don't feel tired in the slightest. [grin at him] 1.5

1.5; Valen looks as if he's sorely tempted to let you, but shakes his head. "It...it wouldn't be safe. You're already too...tempting." He sighs and sits back down at his post.

-...Good night, Valen. [END DIALOGUE] -rest
-[sneak up behind him and wrap your arms around his neck] That's just a risk we'll have to take, yes? 1.6

1.6; You feel Valen trembling slightly under your hands, as if he's trying to fight something inside him. Before you can realize what is happening, he stands up swiftly, turning on heel to face you, and kisses your mouth roughly. When he releases you, he murmurs into your ear, "Why must you be so hard to resist, <FirstName>?"

-[Kiss him] 1.8
-Just part of my charm, Valen. 1.7

1.7; The tiefling grins at you, then leans down to kiss you more softly. 1.8

1.8; When your lips meet again, it is more passionately then before. Valen holds you close to his body, no longer trembling. His tail snakes it's way up your thigh, giving it a possessive squeeze. Valen's hands slide up your shirt the smallest bit, his warm hands coming to rest on your lower back. 1.9

1.9; You forget all your worries and troubles. You forget that you're in Cania; all there is is you and him. The tastes, the scents, the sights, the feelings; they all flood your senses, making it clear that you are the only things that matter on that cold, clear Cania night. [END DIALOGUE] -rest

-faints- that was so hard to write without getting all giggly. xD

Also, I came up with a random idea for a comic: of Valen getting sick of the attention he gets from the female Drow (if you know what I mean ) and him trying to escape from them... this includes a strange shower scene where Valen realises he's being watched by pervy drow fangirls and grabs somebody else to be in his place instead...

I have a weird imagination, but poor drawing skills, so... *pout*

Haha, I'm glad you guys think he's in-character. I'm always paranoid about that when I right fan-fiction or dialogues.  I must admit that Alistair is the easiest character I've ever had the pleasure of using in a story. He's...ah...rather simple. In a good way.
I want to put my dialogues up on Petals and Thorns, but I'm hesitant because I'm still rather new there. That's the only reason I haven't asked to take over the Valen Flirtpack already. Well, that and my rather limited knowledge of scripting.

Anyways, I...-looks at Valen picture again-

...nevermind. Not important.

Well, this isn't actually perverted. I know, shame on me. <_<
But last night I stayed up too late writing dialogue for my mod, so I went to bed with Valen on my mind. Which is normally a bad thing. In a good way.

But instead my dream was that I was my PC and I was having a dream (INCEPTION ANYONE?!), of being attacked by an endless horde of...devils? Demons? I forget which. But they were damn ugly, and evil. 
And then in my dream I woke up, and I was lying next to Valen, and in my sleep-filled mind, I thought 'OMFG THIS IS REALITY CAUSE I JUST CAME OUT OF A DREAM!' And then we cuddled. 
I'm a cuddler. Shuddup.

And then my alarm went off and I realized that was the dream. And I was a sad Demonic. 

I'm sorta glad that Inception isn't real. If it were I'd be all up in there, making HotU dreams which would slowly turn into reality. Then I'd end up pulling a Mal. x_x But at the same time...GAH I WISH I COULD DO THAT!!
