That reminds me of a dream I had where Valen was the new PE Teacher at my school, and I accidentally-on-purpose hurt my knee just so he'd carry me to the nurse's office. But he was like a drill sergeant...and I remember all the boys hated him and all the girls were swooning over him. I wonder why no one was put off by the horns and the tail...

D-D: That sounds exactly what I think Valen would be like as a PE teacher. Which is why I never want him as mine. Ever. I suck at PE so much, he'd probably hate me. :C I could always try to impress him with my flexibility, though (the only thing I'm good at)... *grin*

[Elizabeth] - "Repeat after me: I am happy."
[Deekin] - "Deekin be happy!"
[Elizabeth] - "No. I. Am. Happy."
[Deekin] - "Deekin am happy?" the kobold frowns. "That be soundng weird."
[Elizabeth] - Elizabeth sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose. "Bard-boy, you don't say your name. Not 'Deekin.' 'I.'"
[Deekin] - "Oh. So...I am happy?"
[Elizabeth] - "Yes! Exactly!"
[Deekin] - The kobold is silent for a moment. "Deekin prefers way he speak now."
[Elizabeth] - The girl groans and buries her face in her hands. "I hate you."
[Deekin] - "No yous don't. You says Deekin be cute kobold."
[Elizabeth] - "I was drunk. Don't read to far into it, Bard-boy."
[Deekin] - "You be drunk lots, pretty ranger lady."
[Elizabeth] - "I..." she stares at the kobold for a moment. "You sound like Valen. I happen to like being drunk."
[Deekin] - "Why? Yous trying to forget something?"
[Elizabeth] - She gives the kobold a fierce glare. "This conversation is over, kobold."
Oh Deekin. Your unassuming blunt-ness makes Elizabeth want to strangle you some times.

More Deekin and Elizabeth.
[Elizabeth] - The ranger groans and rubs her temples as she walks, as though she has a headache.
[Deekin] - "Liz, you wants to sing Doom Song with Deekin again?
[Elizabeth] - "Not this time, Bard-Boy. I've got a major hangover."
[Deekin] - "Oh? Deekin has potion that makes headaches go away."
[Elizabeth] - "Can it make you go away?" she snaps. Then she sighs, "Sorry, Deeks. I didn't mean to sound like a b*tch."
[Deekin] - "That be okay, pretty ranger lady. You wants potion?"
[Elizabeth] - "Sure, why the hells not."
[Deekin] - Deekin nods and pulls a bottle filled with light blue liquid out of his pack, then hands it to the girl.
[Elizabeth] - She takes it eagerly and drinks it all in one swing. She shudders at the taste, but a moment later, blinks happily. "Hey, I feel...great!" she turns to Deekin enthusiastically. "How about a few verses of the Doom Song, eh?"
--Please don't. 1.1
--[Say Nothing] 1.2
1.1 [Elizabeth] - She turns to you with a grin. "Ah, spoilsport. You know you love it." [END DIALOGUE]
1.2 [Deekin] - "That be great!" the two then begin to sing, Deekin in his low, rough growl and Elizabeth in a soft, yet off-key murmur. After a few minutes you begin to wish you'd stopped them before they got started. [END DIALOGUE]
They sings so well. >=3

Alexaria? That's very close to my real name, Alexandra. Scary.
Anyways, I cracked up. I always thought Valen would be a very gorgeous woman... hehehehe.
Also, my PC Belle stayed with Valen for the rest of their lives, occasionally breaking up to go adventure, or because of arguments that go too far... heh.
As for my new PC Xelara, I'm not sure. I've not decided whether Valen even acknowledges her feelings for him. Only the Romance Variable will tell. However, I've yet to finish SoU with Xelara yet.

Ohhh, how Anane's relationship with Valen grew... 8D
Ok, so here's the story.
'Nane (elf, sorcress/Arcane Archer) is a very tolerant person, having traveled with kobold BARD and all, so she had no problems with an idea of befriending a tiefling. She was curious about him (sorceress nerds FTW), but then he started to ****** her off with his distrusting demeanor and she just gave up. Then she was too cought up with last preparations to the Final Battle to notice him warming up to her, then death happened and Cania, so Valen's confession was a surprise for Anane. She wasn't sure what she felt, really, but desperately needed love in the God's forsaken place that was Cania and she accepted him. Again, then were too busy trying to get out from hell to concentrate on each other (and I still hadn't had flirt and romance mods, then T.T)
After slaying Meph, they stayed together, traveling mostly. They finally had time to get to know each other properly, build a steady relationship, healthy love and all. They parted only few times, visited Sigil, stayed in Hilltop(sp?) for a longer while to raise kid they had (because they HAD a KID! 8D Boy called Feylan, tiefling and very alike to his father) and then they returned to traveling again.
I wanted to write a fanfic about their post-HotU life, but my muse likes angst and drama right now and absolutely hates quite peaceful novels that their tale would become. TT^TT

do we all have sorceresses? .-.
My main female PC is Silmarwën Whitewing, a chaotic good aasimar sorceress/bard. In the story I wrote for her, Die Weißen Lichter in den Schatten (The White Lights in the Shadows), hHer mother was a Moon Elf bard, and her father was an Angel of Protection. From her mother she inherited a beautiful singing voice and a gentle kindness, and from her father a fierce loyalty and the need to protect and uphold all things good, and she gets odd visions, the origins of which are unknown. In Undermountain she gets a vision of Valen protecting her and Deekin from a dracolich, the entire rest of the way she keeps hearing his name and whenever she closes her eyes she sees his face. She knows there is something important about him, but she doesn't know what. When they are teleported to the temple in Lith My'arthar, she takes badly to the magic used and gets weak. Just before passing out, she sees Valen and murmurs his name, freaking out just about everyone in the room.
Valen is even more distrustful of Sil because of her so-called vision, but unfortunately for him, Sil is very hard to dislike with her ridiculously bubbly, caring and lilting personality and how she helps everyone she can. He finds himself warming up to the aasimar rather quickly, and eventually, of course, Sil's vision comes true.
On the eve of the final battle against the Valsharess, she demands that Valen not die. He does anyways. Sil goes nuts with anger because she just came to terms with her feelings for him, and she literally, literally, tears the Valsharess apart. Then she realized what she did and the pure Celestial part of her was appalled. She wasn't even upset when she died, until she realized she would be a better hero if she was...y'know...alive. So she brought back Deekin and Valen and they struck out into Cania, which progress normally. BUT A TWIST! Sil was suppose to be the Sleeping Man's One True Love! D:> WUT?! Valen got really possesive over her, and Sil politely explained to the Sleeping Man that she couldn't be with him because her heart belonged to Valen, and damn what the Gods declared, she was staying with her tiefling. She freed Valen from his demonic taint, gave Deekin a nice self esteem boost and made Mephi a chambermaid at the Yawning Portal.
Sil and Valen then went into the Underdark to find out the origins of odd, corrupted humanoids that were suddenly appearing, came out the Deep Roads and everything turned into a DA/NWN crossover...

I understand, mages are awesome. xD I always think everything out at great length due to my OCD. I guess that's a good thing since it helps my writing, but...y'know.
Sorta off topic but I have to say this; DAMN! I started playing A Dance with Rogues, and...wow. Just...wow. Vico y u so awesome yet so evil?! ;-; Poor Princess Raven, she can't help but fall in love with him. ADWR is awesomesauce, and I bow before it's creator.
I got a shock in character creation. The tattoos...oh gods. xD Those clothes are evil. And my eye twitches whenever the Princess runs...her breasts are too jiggly. Like jello.
Oh Gods, now I'm seeing Vico tying Raven to the bed and saying 'there's always room for jello!'
I need help.

ADWR is indeed awesome. I haven't played it in quite some time, but I know that for the first few months I couldn't put it down. Shame there isn't more fanfic centered on it.

In real life, I would've killed Vico in his sleep. In ADWR, well... yeah. I only like him because I have a weird sense of humour, and he appeals to my inner Chaotic Evil Psycho. Also, all the good-aligned characters are really irritating. It's like the game's trying to _make_ me evil.
I still would take Valen over Vico anyway, though. :3 And Valen would kick his ass in a second.

Thankfully, this is only fantasy, though.
Vico is really the only companion I like, though Rizzen ain't half bad either, and I suppose Pia is tolerable.
Of course the game is trying to make you evil. I started out as a Lawful Good sorceress, and by part two I was a Chaotic Evil pale master. xD
Valen vs Vico...now that's an interesting thought.
Crap, now I wish I could draw Valen. D:

My PC ended up as an Chaotic Evil Assassin... she enjoyed killing things with short swords. I'm going to try and play as a Lawful Good. It will be difficult, but if I get the hang of it... I'll try to romance Vico while still being Lawful Good. It will be difficult, and I will get visibly annoyed at my own PC for her Stupid Goodness, but I'll try.
Valen would win. He's a weapon master, and at a high level can one-hit-kill. The only edge Vico has is Smite Good.

Sorry about this double post, but so far with the Lawful Good ADWR, I have successfully stayed in my alignment and I still amuse Vico. (Not that amusing Vico is very difficult.)
I am also tempted to create both Valen and Vico on a module with the toolset and make them fight each other to see what would happen - first at lower levels, then mid-levels, then high, and then level 40 - to see the results.

I'd play that module. xD
Raven is still deliciously evil, but Canta (Rogue/Shadowdancer) is a nice Lawful Neutral, heading back up towards Lawful Good. In my imagination Raven and Canta are sisters, but each playthrough represents alternate situations; one where Raven survives and the other where Canta survives.
I decided to attach the ACAG hak to the HotU campaign files, for two reasons; THEM HEADS BE SO PRETTY!
and two; Valen's Mimic Conversation. While the PC is really honest to gods naked. I might just die of laughter.

It's a fan-made module called A Dance with Rogues. It's extremely mature; you play a Princess who's kingdom is conquered and you narrowly escape thanks to a man named Vico who saves you. Unfortunately, his rescue comes with the terrible price of your...*coughcough* innocence.
You basically go from riches to rags and are taught how to be a rogue. You have to have at least one level as a rogue since you need pickpocketing, lockpicking and trapping skills.
The wiki
Part one
Part two
It's a very mature module, marked for adults only...
...like I care.

Download the A_Dance_with_Rogues_Part_1_V1.50.rar file in the 'Part One' link, the A_Dance_with_Rogues_Part_2_V1.23.rar file in the 'Part Two' link. Use a system like ExtractNow to open them, then put the module files in your Neverwinter Nights/Modules folder.
Then download THIS HAKPAK, and put it in your Neverwinter Nights/hak folder.
Then just start up NWN, start a new game, click on 'Other Campaigns/Modules' and open part one.
You have to start with a level 1 human female character with 14 DEX and 14 CON, I believe.

[Removed Because I was beaten to it by D-D.)
Despite my love of Vico's... evilness, Valen is still my Number One LI. And even though there are lots of things I like about ADWR (the challenge of it, the fact that it's taught me a bit about using the rogue class to my advantage, the fact that there are a lot more henchie interactions) there are things that annoyed me a lot (How annoying being good is, the fact that you're rarely treated with basic respect, - then again, that can be true to real life - the fact that the Princess is oh-so-speshul and pretty and everybody wants her...) You have to have a lot of patience with that game. For obvious reasons.
