I'm trying to draw Valen, Rikardo, Benton and Deekin in tuxedos.
Not working well.
EDIT -- Oh my, I just came up with an idea.
Valen falls in love with the half-elven Hero of Waterdeep (must be a half-elf), but she doesn't feel anything but friendship towards him, however she still made a promise to show him around Toril, so his feelinfs for her aren't exactly going away. Cue Angst, nya?
Then she introduces him to her daughter, a human girl around, let's say, 25-30. Her daughter and her have family issues, but the daughter comes along with her mother because she's curious about the world as she's never left whereever she was born. The HoW sees that Valen and her daughter have chemistry, and plays match-maker to get them together.
Lovely, nya?
Unfortunately I have not the time to write this at the moment, so if anyone wants to use this idea, go ahead. If not, I'll just stash it away until I have time.

Maybe because he's Ridiciously Awesome.
Not to mention he punches out Valen when he gets really pissed off at him. It's hilarious, especially when Valen is shocked that he just got punched out by RIKARDO, a lanky, not very physically strong sorcerer/bard/druid, though the context of the situation (which I won't spoil you with, nya!) is rather serious.
Er, yes. Rik, or rather, in-game Rik, has five levels as a Druid, fifteen as a Bard, and twenty as a Sorcerer. I can't level him up as a druid anymore, I believe, since he's Chaotic Good, but he can still use his heals and such. (Which will come in later, I promise, hehehe)
Aaaaand I'm babbling, so I'm going to go back to writing.

A.C: I have my own OC too, but I wouldn't want to go after him. He ends up becoming a crazy murderer at the end of his story. However, he is a pretty thing (he IS based on Valen, after all - well, physically, anyway).

Once again flaunting my inability to shut up when need be, I've gotten grounded from the computer. For two weeks. Dx
So, I won't be able to write at all. I can only use my phone to get on the internet, which has, as I've griped about before, a hard-coded 1000 character limit.
So excuse me while I slam my head on my desk a few times and scream. Possibly tear my hair out a bit.

Just for DD to give her a little comfort (or a good laugh), some of my old crappy notes from the story I have given up; one of the darker scenes:
SCENE# 10.01: The City of the Dead
Darkness surrounded him, wrapping him inside a black velvet blanket of nothingness. Where was he? Who was he? It wasn’t important anymore. There was nothing but silence, velvety darkness and the utter lack of any sensual perception. After what could have been hours or years--as time had lost its meaning --several shapes started to take form, crystalline structures illuminated by a cold grayish light, partly veiled behind a curtain of gray mist. Lucid spiral staircases leading up and down glass bridges linking dark towers together, cubic buildings, all gray.
The man was standing in the middle of nowhere, there was no floor to be seen or felt. Dark shadows roamed the area, barely visible, almost unreal. And he was one of them, it suddenly struck him. The former weapon master eventually remembered that he had heard of this non-place. It was called the City of the Dead, which meant that he had died.
Two of the other shadows looked familiar, one of them elf-sized and obviously female, the second one small and winged. So Nathyrra and Deekin had fallen, too. Only the mysterious old knight was nowhere to be seen.
Even though he had his memory back now, there was nothing Valen could do but wait for Kelemvor to send him away, to the Wall of the Faithless or into the Abyss, where he would spend eternity. Where else a Demonic creature like him would belong? Which was even worse: he had failed. Not only had he let down the Seer, he had forsaken Aldatariel. Now he never would see the elf again. There was something he would have wished her to know, but now it was too late.
Forgive me, Seer, fogive me, Aldatariel for I have failed you and died when you needed me most…
The Blood Wars forever, fighting devils and torture which never would end, a fate he probably had earned well.
Nathyrra. Yes, that had been her name… and now she was dead. As were Valen and the kobold. She wasn’t surprised to see the lizard here, but that the tiefling weapon master had fallen, too, didn’t bode well for Aldatariel, the Seer and the drow rebels. The rivvil was strong as was that knight, but a darthiir and an old man alone stood no chance against the Valsharess and her Arch Devil. Where would she go now? Would Eilistraee claim her? Could the Goddess ever forgive her all her horrible crimes? Probably not. So the Abyss, then.
Forgive me, Eilistraee, I did not want to let them down, I tried my best, but I failed.
It felt funny to be in shadow form even though he was unable to write in this state. Who would write the story of Boss now that he was dead? Deekin didn’t want to go whereever kobolds spent their afterlife, he wanted to be with his Boss again. Boss needed little Deekin. Goat Man and Drow Lady were dead, too. Old Sir was nice but could not protect Boss alone. The little bard would not go to kobold Heaven, he stubbornly decided, they would have to take him by force.
Deekin goes back to Boss or nowhere!
The knight was happy beyond words. Now he understood. Everything had turned out exactly as it should be.
“So he is… and she…”
The angelic woman nodded.
“I shall do whatever thou wishest, my angel, now and forevermore!”
“Go back one more time when you hear the call. They will need your help… we will be reunited. Soon, my love.”

Forgive me my bad English and all the typos. As I said, this is old crap. I have tons of trashy notes, by the way. My offer still stands: if anyone is interested, I'll give them away (if anyone could use them for anything, that is...).

Sorry, but I can't get back into that story after so much time has passed (two or three years).
I might send you some of my old fragments and notes, though (a total mess, even though I created a timetable). Or I'll post short passages here from time to time. The first kiss scene is at P&T already.

D-D: I feel sad for you. No computer for two weeks? I couldn't go without the computer for one week! Almost suffered losing the internet once, but that was more due to problems with the internet itself. Because my dad wasn't able to come over for a week to fix it, I snapped and fixed it myself.

Still better than what I could offer (screenshots from some mad fangirlish private Aurora toolset messing, no scripting, nothing serious, just nekkid Valen and/or a "threesome" (not what *you* might be thinking, just Valen and two other guys I'm obsessed with fighting each other ... ) EDIT: or some unfinished notes from my ancient HotU tale) ...
