The standard cheatcode? Like DebugMode and such?

They used to work in my previous playthrough, suddenly they aren't anymore.

Seriously though, what do you think is Devil's Bane story? Description says that Valen had it with him in the Blood Wars, but how did he got it? Why he doesn't want to get rid of something that remind him of that awful time?

Perhaps it's a weapon he was given when he was a slave, and he carried it through all the battles.

Guys are like that, they tend to become found of the weapon/tools they use.

Perhaps some other demon once possses it. One particular difficult demon. And he managed to kill it single-handedly. His master kept is as a trophy in his treasure room, and he took it on his way out, believeing it was rightfully his.

Same. People said "Valen", and I suddenly remembered I had never played NWN 1. I went to look at Amazon, only to find horror story reviews of missing keys and Atari being kind of slow at fixing the issue. So I came back here, found a thread about GOG (which I had no idea was even a place) and hours later, I am downloading mods and getting ready to play NWN for the first time.

Almost. This CEP update is taking forever. But Valen was definitely my main motivation for buying it.

I suppose I am the lucky one, I actually found a very battered copy of NWN Legends, includes NWN1+expansion packs+NWN 2 OC, in a bargain bin at our local Warehouse (similar to Walmart in the States).

Come to think of it, I don't remember where I got my first NWN. I think my brother borrowed the OC from his friend, but I'm not sure. Then he had to give it back and I was NWN-less for a long time D'8

I've spent two last two nights blowing of writing a paper and played through Hordes again. I'm coming down with the Valen fever. God I wish the game was longer. Thank god there are fanfics. Now I will be blowing of writing a paper and re-reading fanfics instead.

The only Mimic related one I can find is for macs, according to the link, and it goes to some random external forum anyway, and I've just never been keen on traipsing random sites. I booted Ari out but Valen didn't say anything at all, so I suppose I need the Mimic-specific patch? Bleh.

Or... if someone can just tell me where to find it, I might can fix it myself. I did mod a fair bit (on my own, for myself) in Morrowind and there are *some* similarities and knowledge I can draw on in that at least.

As an aside: As a newly minted NWN player, I can say that Valen is definitely one of my fave romances now. Moar Valen. I must see this Mimic dialogue.

Humph...you mean this one-->> Valen Patch

NWN Vault has quite a few mods there. If you still having problem with this one, check with their admin, they might be able to tell you what's wrong or directed you to the right one.

I had that when I was doing the MotB+Romance Mod and they helped me quite a bit.
