I still haven't finished yet. I had to reinstall DA and get all my mods sorted out. But we're searching for the Knower of Places atm. I got a confession from him, and it seemed a bit sudden. Then again it's a short game

Gods, I have no idea what's going to haven to my PC and Valen >< I'm sort of handling my fic one chapter at a time. I think they'll likely end up traveling Toril for a bit. Tavia is a planewalker, but I get the feeling Valen would rather stick around for a bit, and Tavia is so damn passive... The game isn't really set up for passive PC's

I don't know what, but I definitely love the version Nastrandir wrote in her fanfic, with adventure, Sigil, dragon egg rescuing and stuff.

When I was thinking about writing something HotU, I intended to put Valen into being a General in Eilistraeen Drow city on the surface (Ah, good Drow. I like crushing stereotypes ) and then wrap him into some grand adventure my character had.

I know two. One is Nastrandir's, hers are the best. I still read it on weekly bases just to get the motivation writing mine ficcie (not Valen ones).

And the other one is pretty much ficcie orphan now. The author didn't seem to interest in finish it.

Such luck I found a thread full of Valen love! I'm a very late comer to NWN. Just started playing it for the first time this last week, and of course I had to skip ahead to HotU expansion. I am loving it so far and I learned about the dialogue fixes, but do I have to complete each chapter fully before it will work to install the fixes? I can't find the specific chapters in the toolset yet. Anyone have any suggestions on how to put in the dialogues before completing the chapters? I thought I was crazy over Alistair until I met Valen *swoon*.

No I don't think there is a way to have them before completing the whole expansion first. Unless you are some awesome programmist and you know some ninja toolset trics the chapters you would want to fix won't be visible. At least that was what I got.

Someone mentioned at the first couple of pages you can't find the game these days (I was lucky I found it in bargain bin!). Try download it from the net.

I never know what to say on forums so I guess I'll just say Hi  um tankgirly, are you still having problams with the cheats?  I know some you have to click on your pc after you get the "success".  The gold one ticks me off cause I always forget it and have to spend 15 mins trying to figure it out again.  I think you have to have your pc locked on or something. Hope that helps a little.
 Oh yeah, and love everything everyone is finding/posting/sharing  If it wasn't for reading and playing with Valen I would have probably lost my mind waiting for DA2! As it is now, it's only half gone. Thanks!!!
