What if Fenris' ears would move?

DOO EET!!!

Though there might be a problem in finding it. It's quite old. Try downloading it from somewhere.

@Drima, thank thebunia. She made the vid.

Who would have know, aye? Suddenly Valen is popular again!

Already did <3

I will :devil:I am looking for offers now. And at 12$ for Diamond Edition, it's not bad not bad at all! I hope it works on Windows 7.

Edit: Am i the only one who likes his tail so much? I want to nom it

Oh, you've found the site.
Yeah, it should be okay to run on Windows 7. Mine runs like a dream on xp.

If you flip back a few page, you will learned there is actually a lovely conversation between Valen and Nathyrra, another Drow companion of yours, talking about 'what to do with the tail'. =]

If it wasn't for the DG talking about how
Fenris is inspired by Valen, people would probably forget he existed.
Well, these who didn't knew him.
Shame, really. Valen's really a nice guy. Great, deadly fighter and gentle, romantic lover.

Oh, yes. My top three LI ever!

Dear god, Valens voice. The first time I played the game and talked to him...  His voice melts me. I was so happy when I realized that I could take him with me and I had a lot of fun teasing him about being so serious. I almost went crazy when I realized he was a LI.

He's definitely in my top 3 list of LI, I think he might be number one. He was the first one I romanced and really liked. The first one I wanted to romance however was Kivan from Baldur's Gate and I was so sad when I couldn't! Thank god for Domi's wonderful mod.

Well, same here. With only that difference that Valen definitely is number one
Well, first one I romanced was Aarin Gend in NWN OC. And he wasn't joinable. He had that quite deep past and was deliciously misterious and that's what tigers like best :D He had some nice lines as well, but it's not the same if you can have an LI around with you all the time.
I was really dissapointed with LIs in NWN2. All Casavir talked about was that damned Old Owl Well and Gann... I don't know, he just didn't catch me. He hadn't much to tell you once you romanced him.
DA:O romances were nice, nicely builded and developed quite naturally, but between Alistair and Zevran, Valen is still the best.
I haven't played anything else with romance option

The Aarin Gend romance was pretty good. I agree, it really makes a different when you can have a LI around all the time. Also, I'm thankful that companions has more content in newer games. Can you imagine how much more incredible the Valen romance would have been with more content?

I've never tried the Casavir romance. He really put me off, all he ever does is complain about my actions and talk about old owl well. Casavid reminded me to much of Anomen from Baldur's Gate II and not in a good way. I wished Bishop would have been a real option but thankfully the mod can fix that. And I agree, Valen beat both Zevran and Alistair. The tiefling is irresistible. <3

Well, all characters in NWN2 were empty and had nothing to say, not just Casavir. Maybe only Shandra had some personality.

Flirt and romance packs are really helpful with that. Casavir is well written. (Never tried Bishop, hate his sence of humor and cruelty.) I'm waiting for Sand's, it should be out soon.

Pity there's no such mod for Valen, he really should talk more often, especially in Cania. Even his singing stopped.

If Valen romance had had more content, hospitals and police would be flooded with calls about exploding people, internal burns and deaths by dehydration or too much blood lose.

He sings? :wub:My gosh...*waggles tail*

But why is he described as stoic then? He seems romantic and funny...not a dark serious type. I am not seeing the similarities between Fen and Valen.

Well, let's just say that he hates you and doesn't trust you when you first met you. Sometimes he even insults you and he's waiting/expecting you to turn on him. Valen can be a really blunt person. :D

The romance and the funny comes once he's more trusting and has started to open up.

I can't believe that I haven't found this Valen thread earlier! Yay for Valen! *is a silly rabid fangirl*
As for the singing stopping... well, he must have ran out of random one-liners that involved singing. He only has about three or four, according to what I remember of his conversation file. I've had him sing randomly in Cania before, so I know this is true. Also, install his dialogue fix, and the mimic trigger conversation, and you'll get a little more content in Cania. (There's a cute talk you can get with him in Cania about your relationship's future, for example.)

Apparently he was meant to read this poem to you in game as well:

Sorry for posting this pic again, but I love that poem very much. Such a shame BioWare axed it.

^ I love that poem, though I'm not sure how that could've been done in game. Maybe... er... Valen had to borrow one of Deekin's quills for the poem-writing and then he forgot to give it back. An argument between the pair ensues, and then Miss PC intervenes by asking Valen why he needed one in the first place. Cue Valen blushing, and so the poem is spoken to you, and the parchment he wrote it on goes in your inventory! Yay for my imagination!

Also, more Valen: http://gellinjer.dev...reath-183883838

I just got Valen's Confession in-game. I can't stop...smiling! <3:wub:<3

I'm a fan-girl for sooo many things, but Valen...he's pushed himself into the coveted #3 spot, right under Sims 2 (#1) and Dragon Age (#2)

Oh, I see why put it as linky.
Yummy nom nom.

Valen read out lots of poem without writing them down. Suppose you got used to that when you were a slave.

I came across this one last night, when I was busy taking the Power Source:

"I am the unbeliever,
a shadow on the planes,
a whisper true, a song to you,
my lover's soul refrains...."

@Deliciously-Demonic, see why we love him so much? It's the sweetest confession from a pixelance man!
