Saying you are 3D ready is different from actually implementing 3D. I presume that EA leaves it to each individual studio to decide if they want to implement the feature based on if they feel it would would enhance the experience of their games. I personally don't care about 3D in the slightest. I'd say I'm indifferent, but truly, its implementation into BioWare's games would probably annoy me for reasons I don't particularly feel like sharing.

Some of us care about immersion in games, you obviously only care about shooting mobs with a gun and skipping through all the dialogue.

Right... That must be one of the silliest things, I've heard in a while.  If you need 3D to be immersed in a game, you're doing it wrong.

Honestly Gaxe, to me it sounds like that, since "you" like the Nvidia3d vision then EVERYONE should use it. World dont work that way. 3D is and always will be a gimmick in my eyes, I never needed it to help me get immersed to a game. And before you ask, yes i tried it, tried it at convensions, tried it at friends house for several hours, No it din't hurt my eyes, I just dint see the point.

Then you didn't like Avatar in 3D right?

There are a lot of us out there WHO DID enjoy avatar in 3D.

Just so you guys know, I can't play games in 2D anymore.   I'm pretty much hooked on the 3D effect because it looks that good.

You guys need to snap out of your 2D mode or else you're the 2D generation while slowly your kin will become the 3D generation.

3D is here to stay and 120hz monitors are only going to get cheaper & cheaper.   It's here whether you like it or not.

Crytek is on board and so are many other companies. I just want Bioware to get with the ****g program.

3D is a gimmick that's too expensive to catch on at the moment. It's a luxury only for the rich to enjoy during the recession.

I resent that one.

I got it, and I'm not rich. Unless you consider people earning their living by delivering mail as being 'rich'. :police:

As for wether it's a gimick... For me I'd go so far as to see it has a bigger impact on the grpahics than when it did when I installedmy first 3dfx card back in the days. I'm sure some people claimed that type of graphics wasa 'gimmick' back then too.

Yea, mean either. When I first tried nvidia 3d vision 9 months ago it sucked ass.  Then i tried it again 2 months ago and i was like wow ****. They fixed it.   I can't play without it now.

Looking at a 2D screen now is just complete crap to me.

You can't sense the objects around you, there is no depth, no immersion. 2D is just so dead looking compared to 3D.

That has to be the stupidest thing I have read today.  If you believe that having 3D makes you care more about immersion than everyone else then you need a reality check.   You will probably find that 99.9% have never used 3D, so by your bizarre logic that must mean only 0.01% of gamers actually care about "immersion".

Now great you like 3D and kudos to you, but that doesn't make you special nor does it mean you somehow value immersion over everyone else.  I can't say I care if Mass Effect 3 is 3D or not it will not destroy my ability to immerse myself in the Mass Effect world, I don't need fly by night gimmicks to help me with immersion.

I don't really care. 3D is an expensive gimmick, and will continue to be until you don't need glasses.

So, you ask for DA2 to be 3D...yes?

I ask for a DA2 to be sold with a PC that it can run it on mx settings at a price of the game.

Should BW or EA comply?

(no, there is NO analogy...its...you know...sarcasm :P)

3d is for suckers, it needs to die off again like it did in the 80s.

NO no no no. Let me put you in check.  If you want to be immersed in the world of Mass Effect then you WILL seek the 3D route.  Everything in game becomes more immersive. More depth, objects can be sensed around you. You can feel the mass of surrounding boxes, cliffs. You feel gravity, you can look down and feel the height.

That is immersive.

People who use NVIDIA 3D Vision with Bioware games care about immersion far more than someone who settles for a dead 2D looking screen that looks like complete crap now.

Man you guys are getting old. Listen to yourselves.

The internet generation is the generation of people who have "learned how to learn".  Yet you are still stuck in your old ways of thinking.

You sound like the XO in ME1.   Stuck in your old ways of thinking, have you learned nothing from ME1? ... I guess you just skipped through all the dialogue didn't you? ... *laugh*

I saw Avatar in 3D and enjoyed it thank you very much. I also bought the normal everyday dvd and what did ya know, i enjoyed that one too.

I think you need to snapp out of your so called "NEED 3D TO BE IMMERSIVE AND GOOD" mode.
Belive what you want, just dont try to force your belives on other people.

If Bioware wants to make Mass Effect 3 3D, fine by me, If not, then its their own choice. I rather have them focus on making the damn game rather them thinking of "Ohhh how we can make this object appere slighty more infront of that object".

Erm nope that most certainly isn't the case you just like to think it's the case because you need to feel "self important".  You get a kick out of 3D and that is fine, you apparently need 3D to immerse yourself in games then that is fine, but to say you care more about immersion than others that recognise 3D for the gimmick it is, is just arrogant and childish.
