SPOILERS: If you're unaware of how to get the bloodmage specialization, or have not completed the Redcliffe storyarc avert your eyes! (In all seriousness, finding stuff on figuring them out on your own is a big part of the fun of this game... I'm mostly posting this so bioware is aware of the bug I am reporting... )

So... you know how you can trade multiple things from the desire demon, one of them being the Blood Mage? Well, I'm a big fan of saving and scenario replaying. Always have been. I'm not so much anti roleplay as I am anti not having my curiosity satisfied...

And I checked out blood mage and thought... this blows. So, I went back, and I intimidated the demoness into leaving the boy alone and then I intimidated her again to pay me "protection money", which I selected in the form of a bonus to my skills.

So I opt to execute Jo, and head down to the dungeon and then I realize I have access to the blood mage specialization... AND my ethereal handbook.

Mighty peculiar.

All specializations are like this. Buy a book, then reload. You still have the specialization.



Cheating? Maybe. But heck it saves time and money
