I've met Guyven all 3 times, I've spoken with him and been polite. At Ember he said that, after finishing his last travel, he would have come to my house, if I'd ever had one... but his room at the Keep is still empty :-( Is there something I'm missing?
Moreover, even if I already have the miners, Jacoby from Fort Locke doesn't give me the dilaogue option to ask him to come to the Keep (while Edario is already there). The game is patched so... any idea of the problem? :crying:

Step 1: Open the console
Step 2: Activate DebugMode:

DebugMode 1

Step 2: Set the proper variable to 1 (0 is nothing, 1 is just joined (not welcomed), 2 is welcomed and down to business:

rs ga_global_int("01_Join_Guyven","1")

Step 3: Deactivate DebugMode

DebugMode 0

Step 4: Reload Zone (or zone into the appropriate zone)

- from BUG: Guyven not appearing at keep

I had to use that one myself. Apparently you have to find & talk to Guyven three times, and at Ember tell him he always has a place at your fireplace (not just he's welcome at your home).

- from spawning Jacoby in Crossroad Keep?

I haven't tried this one.

Also found this about Jacoby:

If you forgot to recruit Jacoby for you keep in Act 2 you can in Act 3 find him in Port Llast, north west from the inn.

The game gives the qlue to his location: Torio in the keep talks about a blacksmith in Fort Locke that fled too Port Llast.

It's help Vaalyah week!

The problem is that I had said to him he would have always been welcome at my fireplace :-(

Thank you very much, tomorrow I will give them a try! ^^

(Help Vaalyah MONTH... I have tons of questions :-D for example... how can I find those stupid places to extract minerals? It seems that I discovered one, from a dialogue I had with miners, but I am unable to find the others...)

i know, let's change it to Make Vaalyah do her Homework Day!

Google - nwn2 ore
Google - nwn2 ore cheat

Supertip : if you remap the Inspection key to something more convenient, and hold it down every few seconds, those ore deposits light up like X-mas trees.

O_O you deserve a big big hug!
Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you! ^^

PS: what do you mean with "remapping"?

EDIT:
since we're here speaking... ehm... do you also know why I am unable to find Bevil at West Harbour? I went there twice but he's not there :-(

You sound like you've done things in an unusual order. I don't think missing Bevil at West Harbor will matter - he leaves to go join the Greycloaks and you'll meet him again at the Keep. Nothing you say to him at West Harbor has any effect.

When they do cutscenes, pay attention to the background.  They typically pivot the camera around so you'll see people who you should go talk to.

PS: what do you mean with "remapping"?

remapping (also, rebinding) keys is when you change (the function of) a key on your keyboard to do something different (different than what it used to do). In NWN2 you can change, say, the "Zoom out" key to do "Inspection" if you find that handier, which I sure do. (Then I remapped "Zoom out" to the "Zoom in" key, since I never use the latter.)

The keys involved, in above example, are Tab, End, and Home. Go to GameOptions->KeyMapping (the last tab), and there are the defaults divided into five categories. "Inspection" is in the Misc. section, etc.

If you fool around long enough you can really screw things up! So. Before trying any of this make a back-up of your MyDocs->NWN2->nwn2player.ini file (that's where keybindings are kept). Double-click on an entry, then it asks you to press a new key for the function you've chosen (listed according to CameraMode, btw).

Remember that if you assign a new key that was previously doing something else, the previous key-assignment goes *Poof* - so ya kinda got to 'map' things out the way you want before messing around

@I_Raps : Don't we have to talk to Bevil before West Harbor is destroyed, to get him to come to the Keep?

oh, nwn2Wikia turned up this :
"Bevil Starling - serves as a sergeant. Joins in Act III if the PC talks to him in Act II before West Harbor is destroyed. Note that there are several bugs in his conversation file that may make it impossible to recruit him for the Keep while speaking to him at West Harbour after becoming the Keep's Captain. Strangely enough, he still spawns at the Keep later on and can be recruited there."

@Vaalyah : lots of info re. recruits & the Keep at the link there

Ok, now I'm more confused than before. I should go to West Harbour to speak with Bevil, but when I go there, he doesn't seem to be around. But if I don't speak to him, now, he would not join me at the Keep then. So, where is he?

http://www.gamebansh...rbor-battle.php

here's the map of the town. Can someone please, point me out where he is? :-(

Use this one:

Post Battle

Like I said, I don't think you need to talk to Bevil again;  he shows up at the Keep anyway.  You'll notice the gamebanshee site doesn't even show  the "return to West Harbor" conversations anywhere, but they got Sgt. Bevil anyway.

I also note that the Gibberlings mod had a nasty Bevil bug (that showed up at the Keep) and that maybe their fix is what's causing him to be absent from West Harbor.

I'm trying again to see if I am able to find Bevil at West Harbour, thank you.

Question: when I came back to West Harbour, Georg says really strange things, but he's also the only one that interact in some ways with my companions. Is it normal?

hi Vaal,

Georg has a really strange sense of humor - if you're playing in Italian (?) I can only imagine what that's be like!

to your question, Not sure (probably ok)

Oh, he asked to Bishop if we met in a bad-reputation-inn and he answered about us being married o_O I was just wondering why other townsmen don't interact with my companions!

By the way, I've followed your instructions and now Guyven and Jacoby are at my Keep! Thank you!

Now I just have to discover why, after finding 6 ores, I still don't have enough metal to provide armours and weapons to my militia...

yer welcome

8^|_~

not enough ore. My first run-through I'd got loads, but 2nd time was up against the limit (& I find 'em all, but had to keep playing to find more!)

If worse is worse

This will add 1 ore find. Change the 1 to whatever number you want to "find"

DebugMode 1
rs ga_global_int("01_Mineral_New", "1")
DebugMode 0

I've already tried that... I've changed 1 to 6, but when I spoke to the miners, they said about new ores, and after Jacoby created some weapons... no more metal :-(

I suggest you don't use the console for that. You're not supposed to have all the ore you need at this point. Not until the war starts and more ore sites become available.

If you keep using the console, be prepared to keep fixing problems you've created.

keep typing the command in, sounds like you need More Ore!

or .. increase it to 16

rs ga_global_int("01_Mineral_New", "16")
