Has it been confirmed that the reapers are only going to be attacking earth in ME3.? I hope this is not the case. It would seem to make very little sense on the Reapers part. And not only that but it would also make the game a little weird. I mean sure the earth is humanities home base, but humans are spread across the galaxy. ALso the earth being in danger would seem like a much smaller threat than the know universe being in danger. I mean with a game like ME, one planet seems so insignificant comapred to the multitude of other planets.

No nothing's been confirmed. It's just people's instant jumping to conclusions that since the trailer showed the Reapers attacking Earth, all of a sudden "The whole game takes place on Earth!@#!!!!"1!"
Not the case, and while humanity is the biggest threat to the Reapers at this moment in time, their cycles are to wipe out all the species.
Even funnier was because it showed London, we had "ME3 takes place in London!!!11"

earth has at least 90% of humanity, they are the reapers one threat, humanity has the most powerful fleet post-ME1, ME2, reapers consider them ready for ascension to become reapfied, so earth is a major part but not the only one
