Im fiddling with the create item part of the toolset, and I'm confused about the difference between Material Progression and Material type.
Material Type seems to change the model color, as well as the stat of it, ie Dragonbone giving it Tier 7 stats. Whats Material Progression do then? Is there a way to change model color yet keep the Tier 7 quality?
Also, is there a way to use a different item model for an item type? For example, a greatsword model for a longsword weapon type?

I believe progression defines how the item gets better as you gain experience, type defines how the item gets better based on what it is made out of.
The models are defined in BITM_base.xls

Dom Queron and Axe Murderer, my two favourite NWN contributors, both here on the DA boards. You've helped me out numerous times Axe, always in a most generous manner and with the utmost skill. Excellent to see you here.
