Another comic? Why not just release a proper book?
There's one on the way by William C. Dietz. Drew is rumored to be cooking up another one, but those sources might be getting confused with the Dietz book.
For my money, I always thought a Tales from Jabba's Palace type anthology might be neat, give multiple writers a chance to play in the ME universe; Tales from Omega for instance.

At least now we'll know why he's a supremacist.
He's a businessman, not a xenophobic extremist. Were he asked asked about aliens he'd probably say something along the lines of "I don't hate them, but I know what they can do." (from the X-Men movies, Colonel Stryker regarding mutants, would you consider him a human supremacist?)
Looking forward to Saren vs TIM.

Comic might be good. But I'm not terribly excited, to be honest.

TIM´s view seems to miss the fact that alien races are also aliens to each other and most can live and work together fine enough. Krogan were the only race we know of that was hit hard, and they were the ones who pushed too far.

But according to Retribution Cerberus has openly announced war against the other races, I see where you are getting at, but he's a different type of character. He probably had his family killed on Shanxi.

Well, I hope they can do better, but I'm curious to find out TIM's past anyway.

btw, for those who haven't noticed, if you click on the name of cover artist Massimo Carnavale you can get a look at the covers for #2 and #3.
Edit: And you can also see the alternate covers by Joe Quinones by clicking on Mac Walters' name.
Good find on that. After seeing the alternate covers I couldn't help; but notice the #2 cover features the badass morally grey antagonist that the Illusive Man wishes he could be.....Saren.

Gotta say I'm looking forward to it because of Saren's presence alone. Don't get me wrong I think TIM is a really cool character; but Mass Effect 2 was way too sympathetic to his rather fascist motives and I'm a tad worried these comics are going to go nuts trying to make him seem even more sympathetic.

Also, I can't stop wondering why the hell Saren is in one of the alternative cover. Is that a hint for a possible connection between Saren and TIM? Maybe they were great enemies in the First Contact war?

I have to disagree with you, Retribution clearly shows that he is an amoral idiot who holds petty grudges, it just doesn't state it. It's the community that is sympathetic to it. But then again, disturbing and BSN go along perfectly.

You make a good point actually. TIM is really the only member of Cerberus in ME2 who is really presented as the manipulative, amoral **** that someone who works for a known terrorist organization should be. Your entire crew is sugar coated to get you to ignore the fact that they willingly joined an organization known to have killed and or experimented on human colonists based solely on the fact that "the Alliance wasn't doing anything". I mean at least Shepard got a ship and some intel out of his faustian bargain; but most of his crew is just getting a Cerberus pay check.
I hope we see some of TIM and Cerberus being ruthless ME1 style ****s in this comic.
RE: The Comic.
My guess is that the comic will expand on what Saren was doing when he found the Reaper before the events of ME1 and that TIM is likely going to stumble into the Reaper as well thus sparking his interest and leading him to found Cerberus. I think some allusion to the fact that TIM may be under the influence of Reaper indoctrination may also show up since I fully expect that **** to betray Shepard, humanity, and the rest of the galaxy.

Supremacist? You have to have something to be a Supremacist of to be a Supremacist.
TIM is a "Human Supremacist", you cannot be a plain "Supremacist"

As for the unethical experiments Unit 731 committed several experiments that are seen by many as atrocious, but many of them paved the way for modern medical advances. Cerberus' experiments on humans fall into a similar category.
Though not as out and out bad as Vido Santiago, Saren was a borderline sociopath in ME: Revelation. His original idea was to use Nazara as a weapon against humanity. Once he learned of it's true origins, and the scope of the Reaper threat, then he decided to ally with it to save all organics. So as "grey" as he seemed in ME1, he didn't start out that way.
