I think the most valid point that I've read here is one that folks seem to be missing. If PC prices are setting the standard, and there is in fact a $10 liscensing fee for console, then PC prices rising to $59.99 means console players should anticipate a $10 increase as well. The base price of the game will have risen, and past experience shows that the game companies pass the liscensing fee onto the player. And the same goes for folks in countries outside of the US, because the base price of the game will have risen.
Personally, I already plan to buy DA2 in the summer next year and ME3 in 2012 sometime, mainly because I wait for patches/bugs to get worked out so I don't have the headache of buying a game and it not working on my system. So, in that regard, I won't be paying $60 for either game. But that doesn't invalidate the point that everyone, not just PC gamers, should anticipate a price hike coming in the near future.
