I've reinstalled ME2 several times and I keeo getting the same error :

The game cannot launch because of a misconfiguration. Please reinstall and try again.

at the top of th ewindow in the left corner is says :

AWC.dll

The launcher runs and I can change settings in Configuration and I even tried leaving the settings alone but still, ME2 will not run.

here's my hardware:

MSI 790X-G45 mobo
Athlon II x 3 425 AM3 cpu
4GB Kingston 1066 DDR3 CAS 7
MSI 460GTX OC Cyclone 768MB
Windows XP Home 32 bit

Quick google search for awc.dll brought back this thread.
