There is no need to do this. If you want to play with a controller then the console version works just fine, I think that ME 2 had support for the 360 controller "out of the box" anyway.
You have to think about how the games play differently between console & PC - There is no over-the-top auto-aim assist in the PC version, squad powers are mapped to number keys meaning more powers can be mapped.. asking for direct support of a controller could likely remove the versatility the PC version has.
tl;dr: No.

Has telling people not to post if they disagree with you ever worked? For anyone, on any board?

What about the people who have their PC's hooked up to their TV's in their living room? Using a keyboard and mouse on your lap isn't all that great.carlosjuero wrote...

It still doesn't remove the fact that A) The console version works fine, and
Personal choice in setup (eg: setting up a PC in a way that makes it uncomfortable to be used as a PC) should have no influence on whether a feature is added/removed from a game/software package.

How hard can it be? I mean, even Obsidian can do it right, why not BioWare?charmingcharlie wrote...
I would much rather Bioware spent the time and properly implemented mouse and keyboard control into Mass Effect 3. I can't say joypad support figures very heavily on my wish list (if at all). I guess it would be nice as an optional extra but really I would prefer if Bioware concentrated on mouse and keyboard support for the PC version.

PC version has better graphics and better framerate. There's a lot of reasons why PC owners would buy the game over the 360 version.carlosjuero wrote...

Maybe the percent recently had an accident that messed up one of their hands to the point where gaming without a pad is far too difficult or nigh-impossible. I remember there being a user trying to find out if the PC version of ME2 supported gamepads for this very reason. And if the injury was recent enough, it'd be stupid for them to go out and buy a console just for Mass Effect.
Or maybe they like the potential modding avenue for ME3 on the PC, so they opt to play Mass Effect on their PC.
Besides, this is completely negating the fact that using a controller would be an option. There's nothing wrong with having more options, especially when the coding for controller support already exists in the coding, as people discovered with ME2 after the game came out, and is simply disabled. It'd be a matter of a few clicks on a debug screen for Bioware to enable controller support for the game. And they wouldn't even have to support all controllers, just the 360 controller. The community would do the rest.

Some games do support keyboard and mouse on consoles, they're just too few and far inbetween since the kb/m combo was never a widely used practice.aeetos21 wrote...
If there was a way to play with keyboard and mouse on a console I'd likely play more xbox games. Thumb joystick controllers can't compete with a hand on mouse.
Controller support for PC games, on the otherhand is an entirely different beast. There's always been an assload of PC games that supported controllers, and in the age of games being released on every system known to man, it'd make sense to have all of the prefered styles of gaming supported, especially when the games already have the coding on the disc that, if enabled, would support controllers.

PC gaming is about being able to make choices. I prefer mice and keyboards myself, but I would love the option to use my 360 controller just so I can practice aiming using analog sticks.Dune01 wrote...
No...Just no. PC games are meant to be played with keyboard and mouse...It's way more easier(in RPGs RTS etc.) to play than with controller.

They could easily make ME3 PC compatible with an Xbox 360 controller, since, you know, the game is being released on Xbox 360 too?
