Just wondering if it would be possible to enable duelwielding of twohanded swords in the game?

Oh and is there any way to remove graphical effects from abilities aswell? That speed ability you gain in Wardens Keep has THE most annoying effect to look at.

While I currently have the toolset uninstalled due to its game destroying properties, I would imagine there is some manner of setting which sets a weapon to either be one-handed or two, changing that setting would allow it to be dual-wielded I imagine. Not sure about keeping them designated as two-handed but make them possible to dual-wield however.

I don't think it's anywhere in the Toolset itself but somewhere in the 2DA files. From what I understand discussing this with other people here on the forums, 1H vs. 2H is controlled by the Base Weapon type. However it (along with attack speed) is not in the same 2DA as the other weapon stats (base damage, etc) and no one's found it yet.

It is possible to use a two-handed weapon as a one-hander but changing the script to make it a one-hander does change the damage modifier and then there is the graphics issue.  I'm not sure if it would still try to give you the combat graphic of swinging a two-hander even if you had one in each hand (I have yet to see if the animation is tied into what kind of weapon the system thinks you're using or by the graphic setting of the weapon itself).

But to put it simply YES, it is possible but there may be underlying issues that would need to be worked out.

I wonder what we could name such a talent... hmmm

I know, Titan's Grip! Then you can make it so all your numbers are in red and the damage of both weapons is reduced to over negative 9000.

wykid,

I don't think it's script-based. I was poking around in one of the 2DA files and think I've located the flags for it.

All you have to do is change the add a new longsword variation in longswordvariations.gda, tha uses one of the greatswords models instead, then create a new item that uses this new longsword variation.
