I was so excited about this game the first few days although I've not gotten that far into it...
The voice acting is very good and the story itself is very engaging,

But ,
The graphics are uninspiring; music is bland.

I'm getting bored, You fight like hell to get to the boss section and then it's dead in 3 or 4 tactics.

I'll keep on going because others have said that the Boss battles were difficult.  but this Tower thing (Broken Circle) is awful, open another  door and the same thing over and over again..

It's similar to ME run around every where get ****ty loot.  The stuff you do get is nothing that helps you to prepare for the next battle ex:  frost amulets then you meet a bunch of Flame throwing enemies.

Every other chest is nothing but toilet paper (blank vellum) which is so useful....

CRAPPY  implementation of  game dynamics.

Up the difficulty if you find it so easily you would be sorely mistaken especially on Hard. Can't comment on how you feel about the other game dynamics because that is very subjective and I disagree with most except the comment on armor and weapon, there is not much options for those.

Try playing on Hard or Nightmare. Definitely makes the game more interesting.

It's not that its that easy, after I figured out the combat.. (myself Blend mage,Morrigan, Wynne, and Sten)just that at this point which is very early in the game I'm disapointed that the  "boss-ish "  battles were easier.  [ The previous battles were no piece of cake]  just seemed  very anti-climatic.

I'm a Human Warrior playing on 'Normal' and getting wiped repeatedly. Currently stuck at the Warden's Keep.

I really like the Fade part in the Tower. It was very fun to play solo and go through others dreams and nightmares. DOn't knock the game because of one area you are sure to find an area you like more than others.

Just finished the game in normal difficulty with my human warrior and didn't used tactics at all. Micro management is where the fun is at. Boss fights can get challenging from time to time, depending on level etc if you skip the tactics. Battles take longer but a lot of fun this way in my opinion.

Loot seems to be the issue that many shares. I like the way it is. Important items have their own history and obtaining them means something.

Did you beat the game in version 1.0 or 1.1?

Sounds like you have unrealistic expectations of todays game makers. You want EVERYTHING behind EVERY door to be new and exciting and that gets hard when you've got 70 hours of gameplay with multiple story arcs and endings to create.

I'm sure your not playing the game on hard, up your difficulty level if you find it too easy. I myself feel that finding mundane Items most of the time adds to the immersion and feeling of discovery when finding a rare or magical Item.

You're playing with 3 mages, of course the game is easy.

Try normal but with just one mage...and have that one mage be Wynne (non-offensive)...its harder than i'd prefer, and I'm a BG veteran...

But yeah, if you want easy, master the combinations of magic and go 3 mages, and one tank (Warrior with plenty of constitution).

Up the difficulty before you fight a boss, they're usually pretty easy to notice when one's about to come up. Afterwards, lower the difficulty.

Other than that, what you're complaining about sounds about right for most RPGs I know.

I find it funny how people base their opinions within the first hour or 2 of a game that is supposed to span 30+ hours. The Circle Tower alone took quite some time and there's plenty of other things to do as well. Enemies are compared to your level so they generally end up stronger the higher level you are. This can make the game more difficult depending on how you developed your stats.
