if you don't want to use your fb, you could try making a picasa account. It's through Google--no bandwidth cap.

Oh, I didn't know Google had one. Thanks, I'll look into that.

actually trying to find if i can make my own hair. i'm trying to make a "look a like" of friends and putting them in. sadly they don't really have the right hair styles. atm i'm trying to get their facial structures down atm but other than that the hair is a problem.

Making your own hair would be kinda hard. I've been thinking of trying to make some myself, but I'm not very good at it lol

Too true. I thought about redownloading Blender or using my Zbrush to try my own hand at it.

How can I export my face to a .mop extension? I've clicked "true" on the export tab, and then I save it and it does nothing new.

I don't have access to my character or the toolset as my boyfriend is currently playing the game, but I believe that it's because of the eyes I chose.

I believe you have to save it first and then change it's extenstion (or whatever it's called), but after that, I have no idea because when you export to local to change the character's face, it makes it a .mor I believe and that's all I've had time to work with. Sorry I can't be more helpful...

Thank you very much for this tutorial. But i want to do something much simpler than create a whole new morph for my character, i only need to change her hairstyle, because i just noticied that is the same of Leliane and this annoys me very very much.I want to know how can i access the morph for my original character maybe ?

The Hairstyle, from what I understand, is tied to the head of the character. Unless you want to start over, I don't believe that there's any way to change just the hair without using the toolset and changing the whole face.

Thanks for the guide, having fun now!

Quick question: can you edit the character body, like the head? For example, give a Noble dwarf a commoner body type? or edit them with different colour limbs, or tattoos?

I haven't tried it myself so I won't say it's not possible. I do know that you can open up bodies (like Duncan's) in the Creature Mod, and put heads you've made onto those bodies, but I don't know if you can actually effect the body of your Main Character that way.

Once you have set it to TRUE you'll need to export it just like you would have done for the .mor file.
It should then be in the Packages -> Core -> Toolset Export folder in the Dragon Age directory in My Documents. From there, copy and and paste it to the appropriate Override in your normal game directory.

Instead of photobucket, how about uploading the images to the toolset wiki? It could really use a tutorial like this. I'd repost it there myself for you but most of the images aren't coming up for me right now because photobucket's bandwidth limits have been exceeded for them.

I had gotten on the wiki this morning to post it there since I know alot of people look there first, but then I got confused on WHERE to post it, not to mention HOW to post it. Wiki pages confuse the crap outta me....and then our power went out again (for the 6th time this week). X_x

Upgrade to pro thing...OH...I exceeded my bandwidth on Photobucket they're wanting ME to upgrade to their pro thing. But, you know....that costs money....

What are you trying to do, I'll try to help you without the pictures since it's being evil. I was going post everything on my facebook account, but...I'm afraid of stalkers lol

The very basicmost basics of wiki page editing can be quite simple.

To create a new page, search for the page title and then when the search function doesn't find it click on the red "create this page" link. So you could do a search for "player modification tutorial", for example, and then click on "create this page" to get a new page edit window. You could also add a link to the non-existent page somewhere like http://social.biowar...x.php/Tutorials and then click on the link to get to the new page edit window.

The only really important bit of wiki formatting you need to know at first is to leave a blank line between paragraphs. Headers, links, and so forth can be added later by other users, you don't need to worry about those if you're just getting started with wiki editing.

To upload a file, click on the "upload file" link in the toolbox section of the sidebar. This will take you to the file upload page, where you click "browse" to select the file to upload from your local disk. You can optionally enter a description of the file in the big text field at the bottom (this is for convenience, you can describe the image however you like), or you can leave it blank and hopefully others will describe it later if it needs description.

To display an image you've uploaded, add this to the text of the page: [[File:filename.png]] (with filename.png being whatever the name of the file was). There's various keywords you can add to do fancier formatting of the images, for example to make it into a thumbnail image you'd use [[File:filename.png|thumb]], but that can be fixed up later too.

Don't worry about breaking anything. Wiki pages can be very easily reverted to an earlier state if something goes awry, and other editors will be available to help fix up any problems that may arise. :)
