It's possible under the SAVEGAME_CHAR_APPEARANCE section of the .das file. It's a Binary that has a code for all settings. I just put my first characters head on my second character. Worked flawlessly.

Really, how did you make it? I just don't understand the mechanics of the process. Would you mind indulging me?
And if I want to alter it via toolset before putting it on the char, what should I do?
Will it work this way too?

I was trying to work with the toolset but it caused so many problems client-side that I decided to do another fresh install. But - editing an already existing head right now can't be done, atleast I couldn't figure out how. But to take a head from one character, you have to copy the binary head_morph code (a bunch  of pairs of numbers/letters) and copy/paste from the first save to the save/character you're copying the morph properties too. Due to the holiday (typing from laptop at the moment) I won't be able to post a quick walkthrough/screenshots until tomorrow. Unless OP beats me to it.

Hey people. I'm looking up on the forums & can't find a "how to tutorial" for making custom weapons & armor. Can someone send me the link to where it's at, if there is one. Thank you in advance.

Not available until a 3DSMax import/export plug-in is made, one that can read the formats of items, weapons, meshes, models, etc. It's in the works.

Thank you.)))

And what if I paste this binary code into .txt file and then rename it as .mhr (morph file) and try to open it with the toolset?)))

I should try it at least.))

Feel free to post whatever you want in here as long as it abides by Bioware TOS or whatever.

I'm sorry?
I'm sure he can't be that difficult to make from scratch. Maybe his face is already a preset in the In game Character Creator?

I was trying to make it in the creator, but I think it needs some original parts like eyes, nose and skin(?).

upd. Now I need just the eyes texture. :]

I've never had this problem, but a previous poster in this topic had suggested this to someone else, Perhaps it'll help you as well.

"The .mop file is only needed when you work with presets for character
generation (either overriding the current ones or adding new presets).

The file extension you want/need is .mor (and of course the .mrh which you should already have). To get the .mor file:

Open
the .mrh file with the toolset -> browse the tabs in the object
inspector until you reach one labeled "Export settings" -> Set the
"Export as .mop" entry from True to False -> Save and export as usual"

You're welcome ^_^
The toolsets a little confusing at first, but the more you work it, the easier it'll be to do stuff. The trick is to not get frustrated with it and just try to learn a little of it at a time. Buy a notebook and write stuff down if you need to, that's what I've been doing lol

How do i even access the toolset, i downloaded it and i dont know how to finish installing it. It appeared in the Dragon Age Folder in My Games in My Documents, though the installation thing was just in the documents. I opened the installation, but it was just a txt document (notepad). So I copied that document and placed in all the DA Folders except character. Can someone tell me what I need to do, so I can use this toolset?

I'm runnning on Vista 64bit. I found the toolset by going to My Computer->C:Drive->Program Files(86x)->Dragon Age->Tools
Since it doesn't create a shortcut, I pinned it to my start menu so that I wouldn't have to always go through several files to get to it every time I wanted to open it. Did the same thing with the game itself too.

Another quick question about this toolset. How do I find city names like Ostagar and incorporate some of my quest stuff like in the demo in Big Download's YouTube channel. I also want to know how to move the camera, instead of just turning it and zooming in and out. And where would I save these quests, and how do I make my enemy entities attack you, or not attack you? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I'm not the person to be asking. I've not messed with the areas or anything like that. All I can suggest is posting your questions in the Level and Area Forum and hope some answers you.
