Hey guys I'm new to these forums and I first tried searching for the answer to my question but came up with zero results and hate starting a new thread (i'm not even sure if this the right place to post this question).
Anyways, I'm going thru all the areas in Fade as the title says ( the raw fade, the burning tower, etc.) and making sure I activated all the essences and fonts, which I don't remember if I did, since I haven't played DA: O in awhile. It seems that so far only Essence of Willpower and Magic have been taken, and the others are still fogging/misting, for a lack of a better word, which I am comparing to the Dragon Age wiki site on Essences/Fonts. By the looks of it, it seems I haven't activated these (I may have well activated them just don't remember) and they don't have any action button associated with them to activate.
My question is would they fog/mist even after being activated? Or is this some glitch? Any help would be appreciated and I apologize in advance for creating a new thread concerning this, as well my uncertainty as to where to post this...

Most of the fonts retain their foggy looks even after being activated. Some fonts, however, require the spirit form to use.

Ok, thanks for your response, I came to the same conclusion when one that wasn't activated. It still retained the foggy appearance after activation.

A quick way to check this is to use the left trigger. If you get the text "essence/font of whatever", it hasn't been activated. The label disappears after use.
The left trigger is also very handy when locating lootable objects such as chests.
