I think Miranda's ass on your face would have less dire consequences; Better yet, how about restrict it to the bottom of your foot or the roof of your mouth?
Tattoos do warrant a lot of contemplation, no one should ever deny that.
Washed daily and combed until smooth

As long as they know how to take care of it and actually put the effort into it, at least. My morning routine is worse then most girls.

Definitely. If anyone says otherwise, then you're what gives people with tattoos a bad name. There is a reason sites like ugliesttattos.com exist and I want to punch pretty much everyone that gets put on there.

You kind of validated my point by saying your friend wears a wig to work...
Like I said, I try not to be judgmental of individuals, as I have always felt that it is not my job to judge, only to treat, but I was trying to save stress of the OP due to the judgment of others.
And BTW, just because I don't want to get a tattoo of something from a video game does not mean i'm embarrassed to be a "gamer". I like ******, but I'm not going to get a set of ****** tattoo'ed on myself.
On the other hand, I think the spectre tattoo looks pretty good - but you said you work in an office setting. I'm assuming you wear long sleeves to work. In my trade, thats not always an option. What I was trying to say to the OP is - if you have a profession where a visible tattoo would not be an issue, then it makes things easier. If not, make sure you can conceal it in private company for your own benefit.
I also want to say again that I missed the part about the OP being an ink guy, and if he always has other tattoos, then my whole argument kind of goes out the window.
Don't attack me for trying to make a point, I wasn't attacking anyone. Just offering a perspective.

I hate the stigma attached to tattoos. My older brother is adorned with a lot of tattoos and my parents always gave him a horrible time over them. They were so ashamed of him, they forced him to wear long sleeve tops when he left the house so none of the neighbours would find out that he had any. I always thought it was disgusting that my parents were so ashamed of him, just because he had tattoos, it's a horrible way to treat a child, accusing him of looking common and 'working class' (my parents are staunchly middle-class and professional) and there is no justification for it. Having tattoos did not make my brother any worse of a person, it just shows how horribly judgemental and ignorant people can be. There was no justification for treating my brother like that just because he looked different. Now I have to put up with same crap, cause I have long hair and try my best to look like an old-school rockstar, (Kurt Cobain-Yay), but I'll survive....

@Bearcut
Sorry if it came off as if I was attacking you. Not what I meant. Just stating that you have to judge what it's worth to you, don't just say "well, people will think "A", "B", and "C" about me, so I shouldn't do it. My office is okay with it so I can wear short sleeves no problem. My friend's office isn't, so she originally grew her hair out, but loves her mohawk, so she bought a wig and re-cut it. It was a conscious decision on her part. The only way to battle stereotypes, really, is to prove them wrong, so either you're giving in and foregoing who you are to fit and make life "easier" and more complacent or you say "screw it" and figure out a way to make it work for you.

And as far as not getting boobies tattooed on you just because you love boobs.....really? Something like that can be considered obscene, so that's really apples and oranges. Yes, I would be embarrassed about having boobs tattooed because that's just screaming "I'm a chauvinistic pig who thinks of boobs a lot." Granted, I actually am, but I'm not proud of it. But, screaming, "I'm a nerd who loves Mass Effect!"? That, I'll do with pleasure.

I hate stereotypes.
I think our entire generations is plagued with stereotypes; but I'm sure it was the same for every generation before us.
I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want (thus my United States of do whatever the $%#$ you want comment) but unfortunately, it just isn't the case.
More power to people who get away with being unique!

And I admit.. the ****** comment was for pure hyperbole, just written because I felt like the "If your embarrassed find something else to do" comment was kind of a person attack, so I needed a rebuttal. To be fair, I'm kind of tired, and may have took it a little more personally then was intended.

I have 5 tattoos, none of them gaming-related but I have thought about it too. Now, if you think you are not really sure, take the tattoo someplace where it can be covered. It keeps nosy people from asking stupid questions. So I did, and now the 5th is in the place I can't cover. So it goes

"I like ******, but I'm not going to get a set of ****** tattoo'ed on myself."
My friend actually had an idea of getting chicks with their legs spread on his chest so he wouldn't have to look at porn but then he realized that he would get bored of her so my reply would be to get another one. By the time he was sixty his whole body would be a hardcore porn magazine. I lol'd.

it's your body OP. You 'll have to live with the decision for the rest of your life, consider if they make an N7 boy band though in the future....
I'm not a fan of tattoo myself. I see them as permanent fashion statements. Much like ear tunneling and body modifications.
It's something you've got for life, if you are sure you are going to feel the same about them in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years, 60 years.... great.
It's nothing like a guy with long hair or a chick with short hair .... to the person who compared it to such.
Hair is something you can style and grow fairly easily.......unless you are bald.
I had long hair down to the middle of my back in my teenage years, I also had various piercings.... today I don't.
I'm glad I never went the tattoo or ear tunneling route, because I am not the same person I was in my youth.
Ultimately the person most likely to give you problems is YOU.
It's your body, your choice.
I won't judge you even if you got an entire skull face on your actual face. probablly wouldn't have you on the sales floor, but wouldn't judge you.
