Personally, I don't understand the point of playing the same games over and over unless a few years has passed - there is always YouTube to watch for alternative outcomes and playthroughs.

ME2 I have finished twice and shall launch a third and probably fourth file within the next month. Only started playing in June and again was during my game down time.

got bored and didn't finish...

For me personally. I rarely purchase a game unless I intend to finish it multiple times. I feel it is not worth the ticket price otherwise. Most of my RPGs have at least two or three run throughs. FFX has nine and Lunar is up to twenty four. Halo 2 will forever hold my "most time spent on" record. That was... frightening looking back. Some 3,000+ hours.

I've got at least 10 complete playthroughs of ME 2 and I've lost count of the number of "in progress" playthroughs.

For some reason I can only play as an infiltrator. Every time at the beginning I can't pick anything else.

ME2 playthroughs are a lot more work than ME1 ones, does anyone else feel the same? Yet it's more gratifying, because the combat takes focus, instead of just rushing and shooting as in ME1 if you're levelled up high enough.
I suppose it depends if you explore every planet in ME1 & feel the need to mine every mineral node / kill every thresher maw on foot in the planet. I do find it more tedious to do ME1 completely, especially driving MAKO all over the place again...
I find repeating the playthroughts in ME2 to be significantly less painful and more enjoyable than ME1.

With ME 2 I played only 4 classes (want to do other classes but for some reason I just love the Adept!) Solder (1 time) Infiltrator (4? times) Vanguard (4? times) Adept (5 or maybe I'm on my 6th run now?)
But with both for some reason (while I usually play my own gender in games like these) I actually found I favor the FemShep more and have only been though 1 run (ME 1 & 2) with the male version.
In ME 2 I'm also a bit curious if anyone noticed some differences with the AI (enemy reaction) and attribute bonuses with your squad between the various classes? It's a feeling I get that the dev team might have had some difficulty between them in ME 2 getting them balanced or something. It didn't seem noticeable until I went Infiltrator then Adept right away but the AI seemed to react a bit differently on some parts. Then again it could just be DPS values (and my play style) between the two classes too.
I also found that the ME 2 classes had more flavor (or different feel) to them than in the ME 1. . . Anyone else notice that too?

ME2: on my 7th now
I usually playthrough both games in a month or less then get bored, play them again about 3 or so months later. I only got an Xbox in March 2010 so was a little late to the ME universe.

When I find a film or a book with a good story and or interesting characters I usually re-watch/read over and over again (I've finished LotR and Jurassic Park something like tenths of time). For ME is the same... with the exception that's interactive too! So I'm not planning to be bored of it very soon ^^

9 completed play throughs for ME 2. I'm doing the ironman/hardcore thing from now on. If Shepard dies, delete the career. Adds quite a bit to it IMO.

That is no slight on the games. I love the ME Universe but I'm not really a replayer sort of gamer
