Apologies if there is already a similar thread, but I get no results for any word I put in the search engine (clearly a noob).

So I'm planning to do a Dalish Elf Warrior, focusing on archery for my first playthrough. I've seen some posts on Rogue archers, but not Warrior archers. I obviouly plan to dump attribute points heavily into Dexterity. I also plan to pursue the Arrow of Slaying Talent tree, followed by the Master Archer Talent tree. After that, I'll probably take some dual wielding Talents for backup, and that's about all I know at this point. I'd like any general advice that anyone's willing to give, and I also have the following specific questions:

1) How much Dex is enough?
2) Where else should I put attribute points?
3) What skills would be useful besides the Combat Training tree?
4) Talent suggestions...
5) Do the Bravery, Death Blow, Precise Striking, and Perfect Striking Talents work for ranged weapons?
6) None of the specializations appear to do much for an archer; which two seem best? Does the Berserks Final Blow Talent work with ranged weapons?
7) Shortbow vs. longbow vs. crossbow? -no "spoilers" please- (I don't really want to do crossbows for "Role-Playing" purposes)

I am aware of the "archers suck" threads, and the ranged weapon Dexterity bug (and hotfix), but I want to give it a go anyway. If a Rogue archer is truly superior, I'm willing to entertain the possibity of switching classes.
