I can't get my saved info from ME1 to appear in ME2.  Anyone have any input as to how I can fix that?

Did you locate the correct folder using the configuration utility? Some people skip that and go straight to the game.

where do you find configuration utility?

I am using steam to play the game and I could not find configuration utility.

Look in \\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\mass effect\\Binaries\\

then what should I do next? I opened mass effect utility and I have not clue

Whoops, should have paid more attention. That's for ME1.



Does the Steam version use the launcher? (small window comes up, you have to click "Play" to actually get into ME2.) If so, just hit Configure on that to bring up ME2's config. If not, I imagine it's the same path, except \\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\.



Once in the ME2 config utility, there should be a tab on the left for "Save Games." Click that, click the button that shows up, and point it to your ME1 saves (should be something like My Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect\\Save\\)
