does anybody know what  will be the difference if you just survive the thresher maw.

You won't get the achievement and some of the banter in the Krogan base is different.

EDI's dialogue about it and Grunt's reply is simply better if all you do is survive the thresher maw. It just is.

Survive Thresher Maw = 5 paragon, 5 renegade

Kill Thresher Maw = 15 paragon, 15 renegade



And you get different dialog options.

For femShep I don't know. Havn't done Grunt's loyalty yet with a femShep. (first one was a Renegade kill lots of my own squad game). As for manShep... use your imagination..
Pacifen: what does EDI and Grunt say? I'v never not killed the thresher maw!

FemShep has a krogan waiting for her as well if you kill the thresher maw
