So I've played through ME2 umpteen times on my ickle 20 GB hard drive.
And now I have a delicious new refurbished 250 GB hard drive, since the little one was getting rather space-constrained with all the DLC and such I needed on it. Therefore I took my 16 GB USB flash drive for the 360 and began to carefully copy my savegames, DLC and gamertag from my 20 GB drive so that I might put it all on my 250 GB one.
And all was well... until I got to Mass Effect 2.
All the DLC was put onto the drive just fine. However, when I try to copy any of my precious savegames, it instantly tells me that the content cannot be transferred. (This was not an issue with my savegames from the original Mass Effect, mind you)
Am I condemned to make all-new save games again and again if I want them on my new hard drive? Or is there a way to transfer the ones from my smaller drive? I would be pretty dang depressed if the former is the case; I've put a lot of work into my Mass Effect 2 careers and would reaaallly like to have them on my new hard drive.
Any help is appreciated.

Not sure its possible
for some reason the save games are locked to the original hdd they were made on(i had a similar issue when i wanted to move mine over to my new hdd awhile back), not exactly sure why they would lock game saves like that though so hopefully a bioware person could pop by and explain it?

I want to know the answer to this too since I'm planning on buying a 250gb harddrive with a transfer cable. Did you try using a transfer cable or are you just using the USB drive? Maybe the actual transfer cable will work?

ME2 saves can only be moved, but not copied. You have to move them to the new device.
