I pre-ordered the collectors edition of DA months ago. Unforunately, the store that I had reserved it at is going out of business so, naturally, my pre-order no longer stands. I tried to pre-order the CE again today at a building on campus (I live at school) and they told me I can no longer do that, which makes me very sad.

However I was able to preorder the regular edition, which is better than nothing.

My question is, now that I was forced to get the regular edition, will I still be able to get the Blood Dragon Armor and The Stone Prisoner? I am currently under the impression that those come with all pre-orders of the game whether standard or CE.

Yes they do. Regular editions get the armor, stone prisoner, and a pre-order the memory band.

Yeah you should be good. What the Collector's Edition adds to the regular edition is 3 in-game items, a cloth map of the world, and a bonus DVD with a documentary, soundtrack, and other goodies... all in a special metal tin rather than the standard game box.

The Digital Version of the Collected Edition has the Keep DLC for Free, but you don't have cloth map or tin box.

I know. I really wanted it though so I'm kinda bummed. I really like the music & I was looking forward to having the audio CD. There are just some games I like spending the extra cash on, this is one of them.



On the bright side I'll probably get the guide using that extra cash.

Maybe Bioware could be convinced to sell the bonus DVD from thier site once the game is released, for a small fee? Or maybe some kind of upgrade free (get all of the collector's edition items for $15-20 shipped)? Otherwise,once people are done with the soundtrack DVD perhaps you could get your hands on one.

The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the Soundtrack (thought in digital form).

Probably won't be hard to burn onto CD.

Both Best Buy and the EA Store still have the CE edition for preorder.  If you really want it you could check then.  I think everywhere else is sold out.
