It may or may not have been you, it was just an FAQ I was reading. That said, an update more than 2 years ago would certainly help your fanbase. A basic monthly "we are still alive" post in this thread would go farther than you think.

Yes indeed, but I don't need to do that at least on the ModDB site, since everyone following the module knows exactly that there is usually a longer period between updates than just two weeks, unless I get a vicious surge at modding. And mostly as I am a man of my word, I would kindly tell people whether the mod has been canceled or such.

M. Rieder: Forgot to answer to your plea, and here you have all the other ModDB related NWN2 mods out there. And as you can fairly see, what I am doing is pretty much the last of the stands.

Question: do all Finnish last names begin and end with an 'N' and contain 3 syllables?
Follow up: when can we play the first chapters of this module?

Haha, not really, but most of them tends to end like it, yes. Don't ask me why, though.
And the perpetual question as of when can anyone actually play the module is omnipresent, and my answer is the same as ever; I really don't know. Most of it depends of our coder, since without scripts the World isn't alive, as you know. But that too is coming along, so I will fill you in when we get closer to ALPHA / BETA.

Now That's more like it! We are happy to have you post semi-regularly here about your progress. Insane and incoherent ramblings will be accepted as readily as steady, rational updates as long as they remain within the Rules of Conduct.

I am much obliged to see that my insanity and incoherence is granted and widely accepted. Most fortuitous!

If you try to develop sequentially you will gain a huge benefit as people can play, test, and validate one "chapter" before you go onto the next. Since it's a big project where you are flexing your skill set I think you want to try this approach. Then we get to play it sooner
No but really take it from a 3 year project person, you will want to jump in front of a bus if you try something of this size all at once. Thats my advice take it or leave it. Its one benefit of a community like this, you dont have to have a complete game to do a beta, just a complete chapter.

Equintir: Well, that is what I have been aiming for the past year to be exact. Thus the ALPHA and BETA tests are been made before the actual adventure, which too is divided in at least 3 chapters. A good advice indeed, but I have already learned that by myself =) .
I once was thinking to release the adventure as one big blast, until I realized that it would be utterly foolish and completing everything for the real adventure would require me more time that I could endure, especially back then without a decent coder. So indeed, everything will be released in separate chapters.
