Hi all.

During the Broken Circle when you enter into the Fade and talk to a mouse, every time it comes up the notification to let you know you're now able to shapeshift, the game freezes.

I thought at first it might have been the disk, so I had it replaced, but it still happens.

Just so you know, the x-box doesn't freeze, I can still enter the menu.

Edit: Oh and figured I should let you know, I haven't conneted to Live since I've brought it.

My son just got this on the PS3 (I'm playing it on PC) and he's had exactly the same problem in exactly the same place. I'd love to find a solution, he can't get past this and he's pretty fed up.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread but i see little good in making a new one when this one already exists. Has anyone found a fix for this? I searched google but had no luck with an answer. I thought it was the disc at first, but apparently its not. Playing this on the xbox.

Can you install the game to a HD? I've heard that with some games it can solve some of these problems.

ps3, game version 1.06.

I recently bought the game used and was running into this issue last night repeatedly. The message would appear on the center of the screen that I had obtained the mouse shapeshift ability, and that's where the game would freeze. I was still able to get back to my ps3 control menu and quit. This happened many times, at the same point each time

I got around it by doing this: Between the time the notification about obtaining the ability appears in te bottom left of the screen, and the time it appears on the center of the screen, I open up the rotary menu. I bounced around to a few options...not sure if this part matters. Then I closed the rotary menu. I can't remember if the center screen message came up after that, but the game didn't freeze and I was able to move on.

I suspect this won't help the other freezes that people report, but it got me past this one. Mysteriously freezing games is one of the reasons I finally gave up on PC gaming, and bought a PS3. The fact that so many people report the same problems with this game is ridiculous, when everyone predominantly has the same platform stats.

Not entirely sure if you're seeking help or trying to provide assistance to a problem, rpm773; though I believe that in either case your post is on the wrong board.

If you're seeking help it would be more productive to ask PS3 owners the question.
