Ehh, DA2 is on 14th spot of that list as i'm reading it, below Deus Ex 3. It's ongoing voting, and it ends on January 10th next year by the looks of it.
That isnt the order of popularity. If i had to guess, that is the order in which the games are going to be released. DA2 is winning with 17% of the vote
Anyways, I think Mass Effect 3 would get the popular vote as the most anticipated game of all of 2011. Well, maybe Diablo 3 would beat it out
Edit: looks like i was right. Kingdom hearts, the first one on the list, comes out January 11th

Dragon Age 2
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Mass Effect 3
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Star Wars: The Old Republic
...and those are just the big name ones that I can remember at this time.

Either way you look at it, 2011 as a whole will be a banner year for RPGs:
Dragon Age 2
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Mass Effect 3
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Star Wars: The Old Republic
...and those are just the big name ones that I can remember at this time.
Yep, it's a crazy good year for games.
I think TESV is the biggest arrival next year simply because it's the sequel to a massively popular and foundational rpg, one that came out way back in 2006. TW2 might have the most potential.

Okay.
But it has almost double of DX3's votes, so I'm not sure what your point is.

Yeah, TESV and SWTOR are going to be freaking huge. Deus Ex 3, ME3 and DA2 will be smash hits as well, I think, although I think DA2 will be the weakest of the three. I'm sure TW2 will be highly acclaimed, but I doubt it will reach the sales of those other big games. I'm sure it will do as well as TW1 did though. Either way, an amazing year for RPGs of all kinds.

I say Mass Effect 3 is the most anticipated single player game of 2011.But so much can go wrong with ME3.All I know is that if your decisions from the past 2 games dont make a difference in ME3 Bioware is gonna get hounded by the critics. Gears of War 3 is the most anticipated game of 2011 Period. I have a feeling that Gears of war 3 will be the highest selling game of 2011 because its multiplayer is too damn epic.
GoW3 is exclusive to Xbox 360 thus can't compete with multiplatform games.
I personally think it'll be TESV:S.

I'm just curious, how was Oblivion foundational when Morrowind came before it? I admit, I did not get very far in Oblivion(sandbox games bore me), but I didnt see anything all that different from Morrowind.

Perhaps I should have stated the series is foundational, not just Oblivion. I understand varying tastes and all, but I still believe it's by far the biggest RPG release next year.

I don't see the foundation at all for comparing it to DA2. They're utterly different, and I'll be getting both of them, regardless of which is better.Saibh wrote...
Honestly, every time someone mentions The Witcher 2 on these forums, I hate it just a bit more. I'm so sick of it being compared to DA2, when the things people complain about in this game are features of TW2.
