NWN2 - OC
This isn't really a tech support issue, the game runs fine, it's just odd.
Not sure if it happens anywhere else, because I haven't really paid attention until now, but in the back alley in neverwinter (access via docks district), I'm seeing lots of glowing green dots. They're stationary, and they fade away in a few seconds.
Here's some screens:

They don't seem to appear or cluster around any one thing, just randomly on the map. Any idea what they are?

They look like the firefly vfx.

Fireflies. In the dead of high noon. Perfect sense. Not to mention, easy to figure out. Almost intuitive.

Don't come near them. They are magical fireflies (under patronage of Orcus, god of fireflies.)
Don't become a one day fly!
Oh, and another thing, don't mention his name, people who do tend to mysteriously dissapear by virtue of attracting his attention. (He always knows whenever someone says his name aloud)
You can train a parrot to do that and give it to your enemies. Nasty fate. He hates his name being taken in vain...

The funny thing is that the game is perfectly capable of turning these VFXs on at night and off in the day, they just were never scripted properly in the OC.
A custom content package on the vault is perfect for this kind of scripting as well. If you ever do any modding you should use the Scripted Lighting System Version 2 (SLS2) It's awesome.
