I just had the conversation with Alastair's nasty sister in Denerim, and wound up giving her 15 sovereigns, which I didn't realize was the BIG money, and that was pretty much all I had.  Was it worth it, or should I go back to a save?  Honestly, I haven't found a whole lot to spend money on so far, so I guess it's not that bad . . .

I gave her 15 sovereigns and still had over 200 at the end. But whatever you want.

Depends. If it was worth if to help her out, don't reload. If not, feel free to undo it. It's not like you'll miss out on some super huge reward later on. It's just the satisfaction of helping her.

I got pissed off from helping her.  Who spends money so they can get pissed off?

for me it wasn't a side quest... just a short conversion. I am glad to hear there might be a bit more to it. I haven't been able to get any real 'quest' from any of the characters... no dungeons or anything. As far as the lovin all i got was a kiss...

You go in, she acts like a b*tch, makes Alistair feel like crap, and will happily take your money and still talk down to you...



That's it.

Basically, she's just there to make Alistair cry, and give you a chance to choose if you want his happy or hardened personality.
