If people don't see this in time for the great deal of 9.99 for the OC and Both Expansions, they'll still have a chance to get ALL THREE TOGETHER digitally on Steam!
Well, folks, this is it! You've all been asking, "Where can I get NWN2 and all it's expansions together so I don't have to hunt around for them?" Now you know. This has all the markings of something quite STICKY!

Good to see this getting released on STEAM finally. Remember Rob talking about this back in the day... I guess good things come to those who wait (a long time), ;p

I noticed Steam was being a bit wonky about the regional availability of it, but it seems to fix itself if you just exit Steam and log back in again.

Good. I've been thinking about getting this game for a while (bioware is my favorite company) and this sale gives me plenty of motivation.

./\\ Do you think
.I.. we should tell him that NWN2 is made by Obsidian?

Brilliant! This is what the NWN2 community needs.
There were so many players on PW's that just couldnt find SoZ in the stores, so this is an awesome package to fix that problem right away.
Thanks Atari/Obsidian and... Steam!

Just made an account to complain about the extrodinary price difference for NWN2 between the Atari UK and US sites. Platinum was $15 and not available on the UK version. UK had the less content deluxe version for an incredible £30 ($46).
It's been impossible to find this via any Digtal Download except the Atari stores so i am thrilled to register and see this post. Many many thanks. I will be playing NW2 tonight

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting two of this to play coop with a friend. Is it worth it? I remember playing Neverwinter 2 at release, it was really buggy and I just kept playing the first one. Do you recomend it now, specially the coop side?
Thanks!
Thanks!

So how will this work for multiplayer / lan I got four laptops that can handle the game and I like to get it so friends and me can play lan or on pw do we all need separate codes?, similar to how they did it with NWN1 on GOG

you would need 4 copies of the game (unique keys)

Anyone worrying about product quality should understand that NWN2 is not the same game in December 2010 that it was in November 2006, which is likely when these negative opinions were formed.

Best way to get people to check MP and PW's is to advertise in the (hopefully up soon) Steam forums for NWN plantinum.
And it's a good thing if we register at Steam forums to explain the difference between the 2006 NWN2 and the current one.

Fantastic news! This will ensure NWN2 is around for years to come! Starts off the new year (well, a couple of days early) with a kick!
Now let's all log onto metacritic and tell the world how great this game is! Right now the player score sits at 5.3, which is an aberration!
Happy new year everyone!

What a lovely surprise I had when I log into Steam this morning and see one of my favorite games of the decade not only ON Steam for the first time, but on SALE! Insta buy for me, again. As I stated before in my requests for this on Steam, I bought the retail version of OC and 2 expansions, now I've bought the Steam version as well.
Thanks to everyone who made that possible! Now... to get DA2 on Steam before Jan. 11th!

hello there.. were, as lots of people have already stated it, neverwinter 2 on steam is something i had been waiting for years. to the point that i'm thinking about purchase even if i already own neverwinter 2 retail and both expansions.
yet i have several questions.
first, neverwinter 2 is already avaiable on the mac, is there any plans on the future to release the platinium pack with steam play? having knowledge of this would greatly determine if i purchase.
second, does cd keys work right now, or will eventually work for vallidating the product on steam? if i purchase, i would probably use my cd keys to play with more friends, or gifting them to someone so he could vinculate them on his steam
Third, is there any plans of releasing misteries of westagate as a steam DLC? I've been supporting neverwinter 2 since they released the basic ones buying the retail versions at full price, but this one i was unable to get due to only being avaiable on the U.S.A. and Canada.(and an awkward distribution method for me)
fourth. is there any plans from the community to release the more finished and polished adventures like steamworks mods? (much akin to HL2 mods like Pirates Vikings & Knights II) this certainly would help a lot in the promotions of great mods and would help to track updates and further development in various of teh mods, and would help sparkle teh interest in more casual players.
i'm really waiting to see if this game catches more playerbase due to steam release.. i mean, to only hours of the sale it have already reached the 1º top sellers
