A fact is a verified piece of information. Your opinion is not verified in any way.

As a current PS3 owner I'm excited about ME2 coming out and have preordered the game. There's not really much more to say until I play the entire game. It looks very interesting and I can't wait, but this is hardly something I'm going to go post in multiple gaming forums.

Shallow words from a butthurt Xbox fanboy. If I thought the Xbox had games worth playing then I would have brought one instead of a PS3, I am no fanboy I just go where the best games can be found.

Oh hoh, you're a hoot.  Really?  First you come barging into the official Mass Effect forums, call Mass Effect crappy along with all Xbox exclusive games while saying PS3 exclusives are far superior.  Then you refuse to give reasons why Mass Effect is crappy when I defend it while admitting that PS3 games are good in their own way, then call me a fanboy while denying the title to yourself?

You, sir, have reached the nirvana of troll logic. Here's a video describing my opinion of you.

I love that song, I must admit while your taste in video games sucks your taste in music is superb.

But really how does not liking the things you like make me a fanboy? That claim in itself would have to be the most fanboyish thing I have ever heard. Of course I could give you plenty of reasons why Mass Effect sucks (and I have done so many times before in other threads, look one of them up if you want answers) yet why should I when it you who has failed to tell me what makes Mass Effect good?

I'm just gonna say one thing and it will be the last time you'll see me in this thread.

Don't feed the trolls.

Don't even respond to people like Gandalf because he feeds on people's negative reactions.

Not liking them doesn't make you a fanboy.  Refusing to listen when you ask why to play Mass Effect 2 and calling it bad in comparison to your favorite system with no real evidence makes you a fanboy.  Also, coming into the ME2 forums just to troll makes you a fanboy.

You know what's even more ironic?  You clearly have not played ME2.  So while you're ripping into me for talking about PS3 games without playing them, you're essentially the pot calling the kettle black.

Rockworm: Oh, I know he feeds on it.  It's clear he's an intentional troll, right down to his avatar.  The thing is, I feed off making trolls look like idiots.

Wow you must be starving then as the only thing you have managed to acomplish in this thread is to prove to everyone just how much of a moronic fanboy you are.

You know, I'll give you one last chance. Let's see if you have a shred of integrity in you. A few pages back you claimed that the gameplay of Mass Effect 2 was similar but inferior to Uncharted 2. Now, answer these questions, don't dodge them.

Does Uncharted 2 have the ability to cloak and turn invisible from enemies? Can you shoot freeze rays? Can you incinerate enemies? Can you use telekinesis? Can you shoot mini-black holes and mini-nukes? Can you phase through objects and charge at enemies? Can you deploy combat drones?

Does it have to? You are right the gameplay is not exactly the same as Uncharted but that doesnt mean ME2 is worth playing, though the games do have their differences they still have a lot in common.

You dodged the question, as I knew you would. Oh well, my opinion of you is too low to drop any further.

Please, tell me how Uncharted is similar to Mass Effect 2 aside from taking cover and shooting. I'm waiting.

Cute. :?

Are trolls psychology drop-outs or something? It's like watching a five-year-old use the F-bomb repeatedly after learning it from his brother. You'll grow out of it eventually, though. So just chill.

I gave you the answer and if you dont want to accept it that is your problem. If you are asking how Mass Effect and Uncharted are similar apart from the combat gameplay mechanics then the only answer I can give is they arent, however I was never trying to claim that they were in the first place.

..oh, look. It's the professional complainers from the official playstation forums. Great..

Just wait until release - there's going to be streams and streams of threads about.. utterly unspecific problems that "everyone seems to have". Which is "a disaster", and so Bioware "dropped the ball", and should "get their stuff together". Specially all the duplicate accounts will furiously agree, and make sure all other discussion disappears.

Hopefully the moderators here won't tolerate spamming like that. Or defend it as "people's right to state their opinion" - specially if it's utterly useless for.. anything, and dittoed by more than three people at the same time - like the ones on the playstation forums do.

i'm ecstatic that bioware's brought this franchise over to ps3. i'm a one-console dude (for budgetary reasons) and never thought i'd get to play this game. now if only amazon would get their release-date shipping option up.

As I said, I don't know too much about those games

Well
that much is obvious as you have no idea what you are talking about,
storywise ME2 is pretty much like every other Bioware game available
(you do know that Origins was released on PS3 dont you?) and combat wise
it plays very similar
but far inferior to the Uncharted games (minus
the climbing and exploring of course). ME2 doesnt offer anything new,
while there is no game that can offer the exact same experience as ME2 I
am sure that you would be hard pressed to find a game that offers the
exact same experience as Big Rigs either, that doesnt mean that the game
is automaticly worth playing.

To add to that, you still haven't given a single reason why Mass Effect 2 is so inferior to Uncharted 2 or other PS3 exclusives.  Why should I believe you?  Have you even played Mass Effect 2?

I imagine the lack of enthusiasm about the PS3 release comes more from the fact that it's a year old port, rather than a dislike of the game itself.

And haven't console wars reached a level of "pathetic" where everyone should be embarassed to be a part of them? <_<

Sorry but what is your point? I told you that Uncharted and Mass Effect are similar combat wise however you asked how they were similar apart from the combat, the only answer to that is they arent and I never claimed that they were.

Besides why do I have to justify to you why Uncharted is a much better game than Mass Effect? I could give you a lot of reasons but then you diddnt accept my answers before so why would you accept them now?

Dude STFU and GTFO. ****ing PS fanboys, i never see this kind of immature elitism from 360 owners.

GTFO these forums if you're going to continually argue that a linear indiana jones clone is better than a massive, diverse, open ended, heavily story based game that takes all decisions from previous games and gives consequences in sequels. Nothing like that is on the PS3. DEAL WITH IT.

And as i said, kindly gtfo.

No, they are not similar combat wise past shooting and taking cover.  If they are, prove it.  Shooting and taking cover make them about as similar as Call of Duty is similar to Half-Life.

Besides why do I have to justify to you why Uncharted is a much better game than Mass Effect? I could give you a lot of reasons but then you diddnt accept my answers before so why would you accept them now?

Lmao.  I haven't accepted your answers?  Please, show me where you gave a single reason that Uncharted is better than Mass Effect, let alone one I didn't accept!

So far, every time I have asked you to "show me" something you have dodged the question.  I expect this to be no different.

Let's see, maybe your answer will be something along the lines of:

1.  "They are similar. (but again I have not a single reason past shooting and taking cover)"
2.   "I have shown you. (which is a refusal to show you now, in the unlikely case I did show you before)"
3.   "Why should I show you?  (It's not like that was my whole point in the first place)"
4.   "The answers are obvious, you're just too much of a fanboy to see them.  (And refusing to make any semblance of an argument doesn't make me a blind fanboy at all, no sir)"

Which one is it going to be? :wizard:

The reason why you cant find any answers as to why Uncharted is better in my posts is because I havent given you any, however I have answered your other questions yet for some reason the answers werent sufficient for you, now if you ignored all the answers I have already given you then what is the point of me answering your other questions if they are going to be ignored too?

Not taking sides, but a post like that hardly illustrates your point, in fact it comes off just as fanboyish and hypocritical as the person you're targetting. <_<
