I'v had a PS3 way longer than a 360, loved the Uncharted games. But ME2>Uncharted2 easily. In my opinion of course.

1st demo is not always gonna be actuall gameplay of finished product and plus they r using a new engine so perhaps they missed some bugs they will be fixed when the final product comes out

What I cant play games other than PS3 exclusives? ME2 is not a game I would buy for myself on the PS3 however I dont have to spend any money if I borrow the game from a friend, there are a lot of other games on the PS3 that I would much rather spend my money on.

And this is your problem. Now before you go on a " ur a xbox fanboi attack" on me, I own a PS3, I've NEVER owned an xbox and Mass Effect is the first game I've played on my computer (cause my computer is terrible and dies a lot >.>). Trust me, my xbox friends weren't happy when I went around screaming "SNAKE? SNAKE?! SNAAAAAKE!!" after mgs4 came out. But those were my RL friends which I had every right to annoy them with my geek joy. The people in these forums don't need random, faceless people yelling these things at them.

So yeah I love the PS3 but you coming here and saying ME sucks is like me going to a Wii forum and flaming there, KNOWING Wii isn't my favorite console. Your only intention was to 'bring people into the light of the magnificent sony world'. You, my internet troll, are doing a disservice to the rest of the sony fans.

OK, so the clear implications are:

a. Fabby hasn't even finished ME2
b. Fabby thinks it's rubbish

By Fabby's own admission, he doesn't own ME2.

So, um, why is he spending so much time arguing on the internets about ME2 (or, really, composing nigh-content-free love letters to Uncharted under the guise of "debating" the merits or alleged lack thereof of ME2)?  Fabby, care to elucidate?  Have you finished ME2?  Do you actually think it's in any way comparable to Big Rigs?  Or are you just really as bad at communicating effectively through writing as you seem to be?  Should you choose to reply, please be obnoxious, vague, and uninformative, because you're probably gonna do that anyway and it's at least moderately amusing.

This thread asked the question of why PS3 owners dont like Mass Effect 2 and I gave the answer, if the OP did not want to hear the answer then the question should not have been asked, its not like I started the thread to tell people how much the game sucks I only contributed to the thread with posts that fit within the context of the thread

Well, this may just be the inner workings of the subconscious of many 360 owners projected what they want to see. I say this because I am one, and I secretly want the PS3 version to fail. It's jealousy disguised as platform arrogance. BioWare doesn't give a damn about its 360 owners (Casey Hudson, "Mass Effect is strictly a 360 exclusive, LOL! JK, we are giving the definitive version of ME2 to the PS3"), so I don't give a damn about them.

being totally honest...I do not understand in the slightest why people even -care- what platform it goes on. If it works it works, and if you are into one particular one more, then that's fine. They are making money so they can continue on and pay their folks so we get more games, right?



a optimistic idea, and I'm sure there is darker politics going around...but since I grew up a PC gamer, I just can not grasp all the PS3 vs. 360 war, it's just silly. Play it on the xbox, or the playstation, I don't care, it's all the same game.

Don't worry, it's happening both ways.  FF XIII came to the 360 and MGS Rising is coming to the 360.

I have played both ME2 and Uncharted 2. While I enjoyed both games, I loved ME2 a LOT more. I am sorry, but I'd take Shepard over Drake any day of the week, and that is a very personal and subjective opinion.



I am even planning on buying the PS3 version of ME@ when my budgets allows. No rush though since I already have the Xbox 360. You'll just never find me on a PS3 or an Xbox 360 forum. Not enough of a fangirl even though I do love both my consoles.

Apple and Oranges. They play to their different strengths.

Though I have to admit, the script in Uncharted II feels a lot better than Mass Effect 2, even though ME2 was more story-focused. Hm, I guess some of the plot in ME2 makes me want to hurl and rather be interested in Drake than Shepard.

And cue the fanboy rage and "Why are you dissing ME2 on a ME forum".

I liked ME2's story more myself. I guess I will always be a space fan. Apples and oranges is right. I am looking forward to Uncharted 3 and Infamous 2. Plenty of games to love on both systems.
