being totally honest...I do not understand in the slightest why people even -care- what platform it goes on. If it works it works, and if you are into one particular one more, then that's fine. They are making money so they can continue on and pay their folks so we get more games, right?
a optimistic idea, and I'm sure there is darker politics going around...but since I grew up a PC gamer, I just can not grasp all the PS3 vs. 360 war, it's just silly. Play it on the xbox, or the playstation, I don't care, it's all the same game.
oh, i don't think the issue is what platform the game is on - i personally couldn't care less.
it's the constant shovelling of inferior products (as compared to the X360 version) shovelled in PS3 owners' direction where the frustration comes from (IMO) compounded with outright lies from the developers claiming the PS3 version of the product to be the "definitive" version, etc...
why should i pay $60 - $70 for an inferior product? would you feel okay with paying that much for a title knowing that even after an extra year of development and an update graphics engine, it's still not up to snuff? and i mean, it's not just the graphics - there are some pretty horrible performance issues present in the PS3 version that were even there in the PS3's dragon age that they clearly ignored and never bothered to figure out how to solve/fix/prevent in the PS3's ME2.
so yeah, it works, but not how it should - and it's not the same game... there are missing textures, the lighting is way off, there are rampant performance issues...
