Agree to disagree.
I acknowledge the fact that everyone isnt like me and so has to only use one specific build.
Im staing my personal preferance for having 30 Will(With buffs) as I tried this from I belive Elhanan's suggestion. +8 damage and +5 attack rating, are not that large of a priority to me considering champion gives +10 attack and warcry debuffs enemy defense by -10 so basicaly you get a +20 Attack rating. Also I like the fact that you can get in a couple more skill spams from that +50 stamina or can use more sustaineds if thats what you like. Also I like the fact that im a bit more open in my armor choices then going with the maximum +stamina sets.
Im not saying its better, its just a more comfortable setup to pick up and go. Frankly anyone who insists theres only one way to play a character is rather narrow minded.

Oh god yes all the time of course
I respect you and Yrkoons right to voice your opinions on what you think is best. Even though I may not agree with it for me.

Thing is, I'm looking at my most recent 2-h warrior. I Str-built him all the way and I'm currently 12th level. Oddly enough, he already has more than 30 willpower.
I guess all that DLC gear essentially makes this debate moot. three cheers for the proverbial 'best of both worlds'.

From my experience extra willpower wasn't needed before I got DLC gear. Don't use it with my rogues or my warriors, and I certainly don't use it with my mages. Now that I have DLC gear, I have way too much stamina/mana.
The one place it does matter a bit is on long boss fights without adds. Then you can correctly argue that a high willpower will give you more special attacks. However, you have to weigh that against being resisted less often and doing more damage with higher strength, and the simple fact that even 20 extra willpower isn't all that many extra attacks. The same goes for spells for that matter, and rogues don't even need many special attacks in boss fights to begin with.
I don't honestly know what's best for 2h warriors in long bossfights without adds. I do know that most fights are not like this though. But ultimately it doesn't matter all that much as long as most of your points go into strength.

Keep in mind that console stamina regen is twice the PC versions from gear and some buff I think.
Termokanden do you happen to have the resists tables for two hand abilities by any chance? Id like to see those.

I use the PC version, but it has been some time since I tried without any DLC gear. My current warrior is level 11 and can run out of stamina by the time the fight ends or shortly before, and that's with 3 sustainables running. From now on though, abilities don't get any more expensive and I will just get more stamina and of course Death Blow next level.
I don't know the resist tables, but they would be fun to see.

I had my Alistair Respeced to two hander in my currnet game with something close to 300+ Stamina and im still having some stamina issues when I dont bring someone who has stamina regen buffs.
Im getting the distinct impression from the actual gameplay that we can probably stream line the two hander build even more. Crazy as it sounds im leaning away from Champion build due to its stamina problem with Rally. I think Templar/Reaver may be a better combo, I need to try it out.
*EDIT*
This is assumeing theres another champion, mage, or bard to buff stats or course.

I actually think Champion is fine without Rally. Not that it isn't good, but War Cry in itself is worth it. It's a strength based knockdown with a low cost (25) and low cooldown (20s). In comparison, Holy Smite costs 70 to activate and has a 40s cooldown, and it is based on willpower instead of strength.

War Cry kicks ass, and it will not crash the game like Holly Smite does sometimes. I used it all the time with my Two-Handed, it can be a lifesaver, and it will interrupt overwhelm too.I think Beserker is a must have for team play TH warriors along with champion, but Templar and Reaver are far better for a tank, I have one myself and it really works best for SnS warriors.
