So, I can't seem to find anyone else having this same error. I purchased the Ultimade Edition last week, and so I played through Origins with no issues other than laggy combat disengaging. However, when I then went to install Awakening and I get an error message saying "You must have a hard drive to install this expansion pack. Attach an Xbox 360 Hard Drive and try again".

Two problems with that. One, the hard drive is built in. This is one of the new black 360's. Problem 2, there is no port to attach an external hard drive to use, so i can not make use of the hard drive from my older dead 360.

Disc 2 has been bugged for a while. On my older 360, it never reads, despite every other game working on it. The one time it read, before it suddenly didn't work anymore, it couldn't ever install Awakening or Witch Hunt, saying simply "Can't Install one or more items", with no explanation. The current theory, according to the threads I've read, is that Bioware managed to mess up either the patch, or the disc, or both. Too little Q&A, with them, all the time. >.>

Kalkaph did you ever find a resolution? Maybe bioware can give us EA download codes for all the DLC we are unable to install...

I just bought the UE, but I've got the new 360. The DLC doesn't recognize my hard drive, which was a real eye-opener. Should I return it to the store? I guess the OP hasn't got his answer yet. Another of life's little disappointments...

I had the same error with the new slim 4gb hardrive. The way to get round this is to buy the seperate 250gb hard drive that slots into the available slot inside the console. Here's a link to the harddrive on amazon - http://www.amazon.co...&condition=new.

Since installing this the game has installed and runs with no problems
