Excellent rant. I agree 100%.
My first play Shepard went directly to Anderson as soon as it was possible and asked about Kaidan. After all for her it had only been a few days. Anderson didn't pass that on.
Plus I really wish they had let us do a reply to the Ash/Kaidan e-mail. It would have been easy. Upper right - we'll get together as soon as possible, middle - glad you moved on best of luck and lower right - the cuss out break up.
I was actually happy that Kaidan called Shepard out for working with cerberus. But agree BioWare could have done a better job with the whole thing.
They certainly could/should have allowed some form of reply to the email (and for spacer Shepard to reply to their mom too)
And I too was glad that Kaidan remained true to his morals if anything I love him more for it, he didn't just abandon his honour and jump on board with Cerberus like others we could point at......................

Also, it's not that people who dislike Kaiden/Ashley for being suspicious, it's how quickly they jump to the "traitor" reason. Won't go further as my personal reasons are too...can't say it without the word crazy being added.
This is true. This is my biggest problem with their raction.

I got too into this game for my own good, since when do I care about relationships in a video game? haha
