Hi everybody,

Recently I bought ME2 digital deluxe edition on Steam. It came with some included DLCs, which I downloaded and installed. After that I logged into official Mass Effect 2 DLC page:

http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc

and I bought all other DLCs (with the exception of Cerberus Network, which is included in Deluxe edition of the game). I installed the DLCs and logged into the Cerberus network, so that DLCs are verified and activated.

My problem is that flashing text "New content available" is still visible in the menu of the game, although in my opinion all available DLCs are already installed. Is "New content available" some sort of generic message or indeed there is other content available for download? When I click on "New content available" it directs me to DLC page of  the above link, but I have bought and installed everything?!? Is there some tool, program, menu or list (as in Dragon Age), that shows clearly installed and available content?

You can see all the install packages in ME2 folder/BioGame/DLC - copy/paste the list here and we can try finding out what is missing.

I am currently not at my home PC, where ME2 is installed, so I will post the list of folders after a few hours.

However, under my profile, in "Your registered game promotions" section, following DLCs are listed:

1. Equalizer Pack
2. Aegis Pack
3. Alternate Appearance Pack 1 (Garrus, Thane, Jack)
4. Firepower Pack
5. Shadow Broker
6. Kasumi - Stolen Memory
7. Overlord Pack
8. Incisor Sniper Rifle
9. Collectors' Weapon and Armor
10. Blood Dragon Armor
11. Zaeed - The Price of Revenge (Cerberus Network)
12. Cerberus Weapon and Armor (Cerberus Network)
13. Normandy Crash Site (Cerberus Network)
14. Cerberus Arc Projector (Cerberus Network)
15. Firewalker Pack (Cerberus Network)

I am sure that I downloaded and installed all of them without any problems. I also connected to Cerberus network, so that new content is activated. Am I missing something?

I can't see anything but exclusive things from certain stores missing.

When you get the folders, check if you've got 15 things installed, that is about all I can think of.

The little in-game news-feed apparently doesn't check which DLCs you already have installed ;-) It just displays whatever BioWare pushes out over the CN.

Yenkaz, Bravenu3, thanks for your replies!

I checked my ME2 folder/BioGame/DLC directory - it has 15 folders, as expected. So obviously the in-game news-feed doesn't report the actual installed DLCs.
