is going to get quite the boost thanks to the Steam sale. As much as I appreciate Bioware games, I don't think I would have bought NWN2 without that sale. I was also led here through the activation process and my own curiosity. I have to assume after these years, the forums are generally dead these days. Maybe not so much in/for the near future?
I imagine this community...

I think you will find they are not so dead. Modules are still actively being made. I hope we will see many new members.

These forums are not dead, in fact, they are relatively new, we moved in July. The older forums were definitely more active, but that's a timing issue, I believe. This availability on Steam will, I hope, provide a much desired boost to forums participation. That said, a lot is still going on, just most of it is under the direct radar of most as the builder portion of the Community I think takes the most active part in seeing what's going on with the forums. We strongly encourage all NWN2 members to keep in touch, ask questions and let us know of new developments in the Community that affects the game in any way. We are stronger for it and it is the glue that has held us together for a little over 4 years now post release.
