Like the title says, my Cerberus code doesn't work because apparently its in use. I bought the game brand new from Amazon.com. Is this a common issue? Is there a way that EA or BioWare will rectify this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not here as such.

It could very well be one of two things.

(1) The copy you received is not actually new such that the codes have been used.

(2) The codes included were faulty.

Problem (1) I'd imagine is an issue you would want to rectify with your vendor in that they missold you an item. Check your local consumer laws regarding your rights as to such cases.

Problem (2) would be something which would require EA support to rectify. I have repeatedly mentioned that when you contact them it is best if you have your proof of purchase with you to prove that you had bought the game new and did not receive what you are entitled to. The advice remains the same.

Actually, when calling EA (first thing I did), it says this:

If you are calling with regards to the Mass Effect 2 Cerberus Network Activation Code, we are aware of the problem and are working on the problem.

Hopefully the problem will clear up for the people with a problem given a bit of time then.

I assume it's working OK (assuming no network troubles). Happy gaming.

I'm having the same problem...
Could you send the e-mail address so I can ask for another code or a way to fix mine?
