Is your video card separate or does the motherboard of your computer have an on board video chipset?
If thats the case, you might just have to update your motherboard drivers.

My computer is about two days old.
And it says it is already updated.
My computer has an onboard one.
And its a Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family
If that makes sense.
Sorry, I can usually do anything with a computer, but video cards.

Here are the minimum requirements for XP and Vista and the recommended system requirements.
Windows XP Minimum Specifications
OS: Windows XP with SP3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Single (or equivalent) running at 1.6Ghz or greater
AMD 64 (or equivalent) running at 2.0Ghz or greater
RAM: 1 GB or more
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space
Video: ATI Radeon X850 256MB or greater (this is clearly wrong)
NVIDIA GeForce "6600 GT" 128MB or greater (and this one is more wrong)
(Note: IMO, the practical choices for the two video cards above should be the Radeon X800 Pro, and the Geforce 6800 GS, at least, for small textures - it will take a Radeon X1650 XT (or X1800 GTO, same thing, almost) for medium or better textures)
INTEL'S GARBAGE (Graphics Chip) IS NOT SUPPORTED, so almost all of the eee Netbooks miss the boat on that score, plus, they use a very slow Atom CPU.

There is your problem. That graphic chip is below system requirements.

The Archives are your friends. Search 'em. It's already well-covered, an adequate number of times so that all you have done here is post the equivalent of SPAM.SpartanQ96 wrote...
Well then I have a question. My GPU is an ATI Radeon HD Series, much better than any of the X Series. And when I try to start up my DA:O, It gets to the splash Image and then says please pdate your nvidia physx. I DO NOT HAVE NVIDIA. I have an ATI Radeon HD (which is better).

Okay this will certainly sound stupid to all. But.... How exactly do I find the archives, or more importantly, where do I find that specific post that covers this?
Just type "physx" in the search field at the top of the screen. It will pull up plenty of hits you can browse through.
To address your question directly, I believe DA uses the CPU for Physx if you have either an Nvidia or an ATI card. I believe the physx driver is suppose to install with the game. Again, use the search function above. With a game as popular as DA, someone is bound to have come across your problem before.
Good luck!

Dragon Age requires PhysX regardless of your brand of graphics card. Dragon Age runs it off the main CPU of your computer. The PhysX software should have been placed on your computer when you installed Dragon Age.
Let's take this from another angle: What version of Dragon Age do you have? Is it the regular edition, the collector's edition, the Ultimate Edition, or what? And did you get it on disc, or did you download it from an online site like Steam?
