Update: It seems the [Player] > [Appearance] > [Morph Head] > [Vector Parameters] were not copied over resulting in all the color values being 0 0 0 which equals a char black head for your Shepard. So I copied the values from my Xbox save and now its fine.

I have ME2 on xbox 360, and I want to transfer my xbox saves over to pc. I was delighted to find a tool that does this, so thanks OP. However I'm having a little trouble getting started, and was hoping for a little help.
My problem is quite simple. Every time I try and copy my ME2 save from my xbox HDD to a USB pendrive, I get a "This item cannot be transferred between storage devices" error message. I also tried using the "Transfer content" option, but it tries to move my entire ME2 information (DLC & all saves), as opposed to allowing me to copy one single save.
I ran some google searches, and I don't think I'm the only one experiencing this, however everyone on these forums seems to know the way round this! As suggested in the save transfer tool itself, I looked at:
http://social.biowar...8/index/2277020
and downloaded all the recommended files, however I can't even get started on the import process if I can't copy the single save file from my xbox. I'm sure the solution is really easy - could some please tell me what it is!
Thanks

You have to move the saves, because the xbox will never let you copy them, but once you've extracted the saves from the usb drive using USB XTAF, then you can put it back in the xbox and move them back onto the xbox hdd.
Thank you for this - I have now managed to get this to work, and have transferred my beautiful xbox FemShep to pc.
However I have now encountered the same problem as you - my FemShep's head is completely char black.
Merdink, you said that you solved this problem:
How did you determine what your xbox values were, and how did you copy them into the pc save? I'm a real noob at this - do you have to use gibbed's saveeditor, or is it using Modio or something else?Update: It seems the [Player] > [Appearance] > [Morph Head] > [Vector Parameters] were not copied over resulting in all the color values being 0 0 0 which equals a char black head for your Shepard. So I copied the values from my Xbox save and now its fine.
Thanks again

As a side note to other beginners, you will need to extract individual save files after you extract your whole "save file" from your 360. A good tool to use is : http://social.biowar...8/index/2277020)

Here's my problem. How do I convert my ME1 saves on Xbox into PC saves? I read this walkthrough http://social.biowar...8/index/2277020
Yet, I still don't understand how to convert my Xbox saves into PC saves. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Example. I see some in pc have modified Tali to have a different outfit colors. Purpilish with shinning lights in her oval buttons holding her head veil.
Does that mean I can get a pc save from a friend who has such a tali costume and use it on the xbox?
and not stopping there. can the same idea extend to faces, hair etc?

No sorry. You can't change textures in Xbox 360 version.
oh. I must be confused as to what this converter is.
What exactly does the converter does then? Does it changes a pc ME2 toa n xbox 360 save? or not. I am lost here.
Here is what I was thinking. PC friend changes stuff on his save file. I use the converter plug it into the xbox and I have the changes. They weren't done on the xbox though.
Thats not how it works?
ANd if not then, what are exactly the things the converter is for then?

It converts PC ME2 save to Xbox 360 (or reverse). Just that. Changed textures are not stored in save files.
oh ok. damn. got my hopes way up
Just for imagin what would this converter help console players do that they can't do otherwise with hex or gibbed?

I usually start new game, copy save to USB and inject modified save using Modio.
