OK, I got Mass Effect 1 at last year's holiday sale on Steam and just bought the second one the other day. I finally came around to playing Mass Effect 1 this week and already beat it so I started with ME2. There are two things that are absolutely driving me nuts about ME2. First, I just want to say, this isn't a troll thread, I love the Mass Effect games already. I'm posting this hoping, knowing there's only a slim chance, that some developer will see this and bring it up when porting Mass Effect 2 to PC.

1 - DO NOT make us bind Sprint and Use to the same key. This is seriously the first game over all my years of gaming I have ever been forced to do this and it's driving me nuts. I've already died several times trying to sprint from cover to cover but don't actually sprint because the sprint button isn't what I usually have it as. Not sure why Cover is on the same button too but I guess it makes sense for sprint. It was perfect in ME1 where you just run towards a wall for cover and I guess they changed it in an effort to make it easier for 360. I'm fine if that's why they did it but just don't force us to bind sprint/cover with use.

2 - Change the little mini help tips during the beginning of the game so that the controls actually adjust. I change almost all of my controls from the default (I don't use WASD to move, I shift it over to ESDF). As a result, I'm trying to figure out how to do something at the beginning of the game and the buttons that pop up are completely wrong. And to make matters worse, you can't even disable those help pop ups (At least not from what I saw going through the options) which makes it even more annoying.

Those are my only two complaints about the game. Crossing my fingers hoping somebody will see this so they don't make the same mistake in Mass Effect 3.

This is the technical support thread you do not have a technical problem.

Take your whinging about the controls elsewhere.

LOL, knew I was going to get a response like that. I guess criticizing a game in any way to a fan is an automatic whine. All I'm saying is these are some issues that seriously shouldn't be overlooked when porting a game to PC.

But props, I didn't think I was going to get that kind of response THAT fast. XD
