Hi. I checked the forum but I didn't see anything previous, so here I am.

I was doing a 2nd run through for my femShep, I'd just talked to Garroth over on the Presidium and got the quest to find the Majestic. The problem is that after going to the HHN and the Strenuus system there is no Majestic in system. I've double-checked my journal and the quest is active but nothing's showing up. I tried going back to the quest again, but I"m getting the same.

I thought after you found the vapor trail of the Majestic your supposed to land on a planet

This happened to me before also. It's supposed to be that you find the abandoned ship and then land on the planet IIRC, but sometimes it just doesn't show up at all.

That's what I thought as well, which is what confused me. I ended up having to go back to a far save just after becoming a Spectre and this time talking to Garroth before leaving for Chora's Den, then it seemed to show up correctly though.

Did some googling (bored at work) and found this on the old ME forums. Maybe it will help?

In short, you can't see the ship until you've gotten the "Find Garoth" quest when hacking a console on Noveria (I think it's one of the consoles you can find in the hotel lounge.)

True and the weird part. I had gotten teh "Find Garroth" on Noveria, went to the Citadel, spoke with him and got the quest. But after arriving at the Strenuus system there was nothing to scan/find and having never been there prior. Thanks though!

Hrm - I found the ship by accident when scanning through the system. I noticed that the reticule found a target off the side of a planet, clicked on it, and it showed the info on the ship - this opened up the planet to land on and destroy the privateer base. The only time I Talked to Garroth was after completing the mission.



I did the mission after Liara's Dig site and before I headed to Noveria (I did Liara's Dig->Side Missions->Noveria->Side Missions->Feros->Side Missions->Virmire->Remaining Citadel Side MIssions->Ilos)

@Slayer: In the system where the quest is, theer is a planet at the top of the system map. Hover the cursor around the planet, but not on it. Just to the side of the planet you will find the vapour trail of the ship, which leads you to the planet. Then you can land on it.

OK I know this is old but since its on the same quest and its a glitch. Has anyone had the glitch where you find the ship go to the planet then kill the dudes find the body then tell his brother but it leaves the assignment in youre file with the find the ship mark still live?

As a matter of fact, yes I have. It was kind of very annoying since I was trying to clear out everything. Nothing would make it go away.
