 bought ultimate edition through steam you only get to CD-keys not quite sure on how to authorize the DLC yes i read the sticky.

I bought Dragon Age Origins:Ultimate Edition on daily special it will not authorise DLC even thou I have registered with Bioware and can play them on my second computer via EADM.

Does not work even though I've used both DLC-keys, restarted my computer several times.

So everybody who has Steam Ultimate edition has these same problems! Can't they do patch for this because my nervs are gone.

find your dragon age folder, you may have saved it else where but this is how I find mine.



C:\\\\\\\\Program Files \\\\\\\\ Steam \\\\\\\\ steamapps \\\\\\\\ common \\\\\\\\ dragon age ultimate edition



once your in there find the file that says REDIST should be near the bottom, once in there run the file that says DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam when that finishes run the other file called DAUServiceSetup_Steam, when both have finished start up your dragon age ultimate and hopefully everything should be working.

Just tried this and it didn't work for me 

Edit* - Nevermind it looks like it was my firewall. While it did automatically create a specific rule for the DAUpdaterSvc it wasn't until I configured the rule to just allow all that my DLC was finally authorized.

I've tied all of this, none of it is working.

Here was my problem:



I moved the directory I had Steam installed to, so my DAUpdater service was pointing to the wrong executable. If you go to Services and cannot start the DAUpdater service (Error 2: not found), check the path of the service executable. I used regedit to change the path to the correct one (Google on changing path of service, its easy).
